Anyone lost their patience with DBD?. (RANT)
I think I gave DBD as best a shot for as long as I could on console hoping devs would fix problems and bugs that were there since I started playing and most importantly optimise console but they just don't give a #########... and frankly neither do I anymore so I'm just quitting because it seems like every new update they find new ways to break the game and bring back old bugs over and over again it's actually ######### hopeless, at this point I'd rather have them fix 1 bug a month then add more bugs than they fix.
Who can honestly play more than 2 games a day considering how long the matchmaking is and how short the matches are or long courtesy of your friendly neighbourhood blendettes. The rift pass is a scam exactly because of this reason, I spend time in queue more than in game, it's not reasonable the amount of time I would have to play this game to get to tier 100, nothing feels rewarding in this game, during the anniversary event with all the gruesome cakes progression felt like it was perfect but now it's so ######### slow again it doesn't feel rewarding.
I could go on and on and on, and you get it but this game has really has gone downhill since dedicated servers came out in my opinion anyways, not that it ever was going uphill. Devs would rather address anything but the most important stuff because I don't think they can, I can just imagine their rank 20 survivor play testers get chainsawed by Billy and say "Holy ######### Billy can use his chainsaw and he got me even tho I ran in a straight line OP!." Nobody asked for a billy nerf, I have always had fun against him as survivor there was no problem with him except the double charge addons and double doom engravings shouldn't have stacked and that's literally it but they always have to overreact to everything and don't even listen to their fog listeners who make very good points usually.
So I gotta ask, has anyone else ran out of patience with this game?.

I get a bit salty sometimes but mainly due to RNG placement in maps. I rarely think about other stuff. I came from PS4 and its much better than when it initially started and has come a long way. I don't get upset enough to quit but I do switch sides if I take enough beatings. When it comes to balance, there has to be push and shove, whether everyone likes it or not. Neither side will ever be fully happy but it comes with this game. The best I can say is, take a break. Console isn't the greatest experience but most pc games that go to console aren't due to optimization problems.

I mean if people run out of patience and leave this game. There's not many games with the exact same genre to switch to, there's identityV for phone but it's characters are a bit cartoonish.
It's been said many times but until good competition comes out they'll do whatever they want

I remember when I made a ticket regarding choppy skill checks on console and they told me it was going to be fixed with dedicated servers, sure they were slightly improved but are still terrible. This game is a waste of time because they refuse to take care of its long-term health, it needs something like operation health from Rainbow Six Siege where all the focus was on fixing the game because this game desperately needs it and until that is done I will be indeed probably be taking that very long break.

You're right, personally I am thinking about getting Resident Evil 3 which includes Resident Evil Resistence, an asymmetrical 1v4 "horror" there isn't anything terrifying about it and some parts of the game are really silly but the more gameplay I see the better it looks!. Your objective is essentially to do objectives which adds time to the time limit which ticks away and the mastermind can take away that time by interrupting you and mainly doing damage, if it reaches 0 survivors die. Looks like there is a lot of viable builds you can do, which is promising!. I do trust capcom can balance their game and fix bugs and will be trying this game, and if I don't like it that's fine because you basically get it for free with the single player.

I stopped reading at "I gave dbd a best shot on console". DBD on console is broken and shouldnt have come out. At least not in the condition it's in. It felt like a cash grab and not very well thought out.

As someone who plays on both pc and console. Pc is so much better and smoother.

Lmao, as bad as we may have it I'm just thinking about the Nintendo Switch players...

Reminds me of Fallout 4 VR. They ported it over to vr headsets without actually testing it I think. You couldnt use scopes in the game. You could equip them but the moment you drew the gun your screen was locked in aim down sights. There was no mechanic to hold it up to your eye when you wanted to use the scope. They clearly didn't think anything through and thought it would be a quick buck.
My favorite was the cryolator in the master lock vault in the starting location. You can't pick the lock that early but nothing stopped you from moving your virtual hands into the case and picking up the gun lol

You keep playing it's your problem, you are on the wrong here. Even the Game Director asks you to play some other damned game (he heard civ is nice, etc.).
They got their money from you, they are done with you. DbD is marketed towards fresh blood with no consideration to veterans. I stopped playing, other than very few hours per week.
