  • do Blood Orbs stay forever in the trail
  • it seems like there is a max limit on Blood Orbs that is in the trail any given moment. I noticed when there is tons of blood around, some despawn. Or am I just imagining that?
  • Is it an intended feature that when you go into your power that survivors stop leaving Blood Orbs (not just visually) and it just starts again when you exit power? Why is that? They should just be invisible, shouldn't they?

    I'm not an oni main but I do think that blood orbs stay forever. I'm not sure about the despawning part.

    When you go into power, survivors don't drop blood orbs. It's designed that way.

    There's a maximum of 100 blood orbs on the map at once. It takes 40 to fill your power entirely. Not sure about not dropping blood orbs, they should still drop while you're in your power if they're still injured. (However not for 10 seconds after an unhook.) Can always check by running the bloody glove and seeing if you see auras while in your fury.

    The limit of 100 Blood Orbs explains my suspicion.

    Question is now if they stay forever and if it is intended that they stop dropping them entirely when you are in your power
