Good news! Noed has counter !
Just clean all tottems instead of rush gens ...

Even when noed activates most of the time survivors are good players and just leave. MOST of the time. :P

Oi, I’m not your slave Killer Main. Clean your own dirty bones ya filthy hooker.
15 -
Hey. Want another fun fact? Good killers don't use NOED because they don't need it. Chew on that.
10 -
And?
1 -
Yea, I will tell that to all my solo q teammates!
Oh wait...
7 -
There's a chat in the lobby.
0 -
I'm a survivor main, and these are very good ideas
0 -
I know, and do you think that everybody is in the lobby when I write something in there? Or maybe they don't listen, or don't care, and then they complain about it.
But that's not noed problem, that's just dumb teammates.
0 -
Exactly, NOED is not the problem here, teammates are. That's no reason to change NOED.
0 -
Did I said anything about changing noed tho?
0 -
I repeat ,clean all totems , there are 5 tottems ,1 tottem per head , it's easy ... Stop crying
0 -
Buddy ,how is possible that , most of survivors are red ranks , good killers Vs good survivor don't have any chance
0 -
As soon as solo gets some we'll-needed QOL buffs to bring them closer to SWFs level of information I'll accept this. Until then when I cleanse 4 totems and my team can't even be bothered to do 1 I'm going to continue complaining about this perk being a solo stomper.
Just put a totem counter on the HUD Bhvr. That's all you need to do.
9 -
Cleansing totems doesn't counter NOED, because it's stronger than NOED. The counter to NOED is to let the killer have their 1 petty kill. Cleansing totems can get the entire team killed before the gates are even powered.
2 -
What about hex retribution that one makes cleansing dulls even more hard as once you do you hear no heartbeat

Good survivors dont give a ######### about No Ones Even Dead yet.
And good killers don't use it.
0 -
Another fun fact even good killers use noed just to screw with cocky survivors and combo it with let's see warden we have the deathslinger who can hook you and drag you into a insta knock plus it gives a decent speed boost as well

Run detective's hunch.
1 -
Even better news, you don't have to use a dead weight perk!
Learn to live without it.
1 -
Bad survivors deserve to win Vs good killers ?
2 -
No, you didn't. My bad.
0 -
And we just ignore everything told thousand times before AGAIN. Its really ridiculous how killers repeat the same nonsense again and again.
1 -
Why don't you equip Small Game, again?
0 -
Good survivors don't need DS, Deadhard, Unbreakable, BT, etc. etc. but here we go!
But let's shame a killer for using anti-genrush perk because we have no skills to counter it.
Funny survivors.
2 -
Don t Give out secrets like that
1 -
Because Detective's Hunch > Small Game.
In all seriousness I generally agree with just do bones. However easier said then done on some maps.

Clean the totems, or use Soul Guard and don't
0 -
how many thread on this topic? i mean really.
0 -
That's not using Noed if you're just memeing around.
I'm talking about killer that uses it in their basic everyday build.
0 -
Noed being a noob crutch perk is an old school killer perspectives. Not so much a survivor one.
I would not be caught dead using it, because when I first started killer, it was killers that made fun of it.

Cleanse totems and we stop NOED? Who'd have thought it possible?
Oh wait, reality says Survivors just slam out gens and forget the 5 bone piles... Hmmm. This counter may need some reworking!
0 -
Oh good grief, are we still having this bullcrap argument?
Doesn't matter whether we like or dislike NOED, whether you think its bad for a killer to use it, it's a perk, and just like any perk we load up, they can use it if they choose.
You don't even have to cleanse all or even one totem while doing gens if you don't want to. Just don't run at the hooked NOED victim, 99% the gates and find the brightly lit totem that ends the issue.
BOTH sides have second chance perks but it seems they are only 'crutch perks' and 'used by bad players' when its the other side using them. And yes, i am aware killers do the same, and my opinion on that is also the same.

Want another fun fact? Most actually competant survivors can survive with things other than DS, Dead Hard, Adrenaline and Sprint Burst.
0 -
I know but I run it in my main builds all the time with warden it's a good end game counter to people that are cocky and hang about during egc

What would NOED be (reworked and renamed) if it became a thing for the killer at the BEGINNING of the trial instead. Allowing one time ultra downing on a Healthy survivor. But if they are slugged. No matter if there's survivors with Bill's perk, Unbreakable, survivors to get right back up. That survivor gets picked up, By killer they no longer can be "NOED", giving chance to remain in the game, if they got their first hook and saved.
This way survivors would be made to be more stealthy instead of gen rushing to avoid that first time full on down and not be swarms of all survivors buzzin' around together.
Doing bones still takes this out
1 -
NOED is a crutch perk for killers who don't want to learn how to play. If you're so bad at killer that you can't get a single sacrifice before all gens are powered, you probably should go watch some good streamers or youtubers play killer, learn good tactics, and practice them until you get good at killer. You're never going to get better relying on a crutch perk, NOED is holding you back, let it go. I stopped using it within about of month of starting the game, it was very liberating, and I'm a better killer for it.
You can't expect solo players to somehow coordinate the removal of all 5 totems before the end of a game with no voice chat, especially when there are certain maps that the totems are very hard to find on, like Lery's.

LOL. I don't run any of those and I'm a survivor main. NOED is for killers who can't get it done.

Here's a revolutionary idea:
3 survivors do gens and 1 cleanses totems.
Problem solved.

I dont think that the problem with NOED its the perk, and yes because he is being overused, i am a survival main and the main objectives that will ensure our victories and will give me bloodpoints or pip its doing gen and loop the killer, so i know that its very annoyng to be gen rushed, but what you can do are give suggetions of solutions.
I never had problems with NOED until everione starts overusing and just be predictable that he is gonna have NOED, and know that have the timer we cant even open the exit gate from escape because of that fuckyng timer.
you cant just blame the survival from genrushing is the only thing that will help the survival to win and it will have a prise as bloodpoint or pip
you can say that NOED is an anti gen rushing, but the feel that survivals have with the NOED is the same if everyone starts to bring dead hard DS and Unbreakable it will just turn the game repetitive and booring and it is for this that every survival main hate survival its not because of the perk its because of the overuse

Mettle of man + empathy will get you a counter hit as well if you play it right. Syptic tec won't work against a sentient killer but do sentient killers need noed? Soul guard and adrenaline. I'm sure there are more but running things just to counter noed means you're not running things to get to endgame and there's a chance noed won't even factor in so why bother?

How is this news?
0 -
Oh you mean like bc it's possible to do every totem and every gen with literally every team while also 2 up 4 will make it to the endgame?
No? Yea bc this isn'tpossible. That's like sayin "just dont slug to avoid unbreakable" or " just dont hit when someone has dead hard"
This isn't always a viable option. It is one. But not in every case especially when doing one single dull would result in a 4k. Then it makes more sense going for the one hex in the endgame when no gens are left anymore.
And if you run Detectives Hunch like me just to ######### up noed gamers this perk does nothing more than maybe 1 down, maybe.
