Every 3rd match I load into someone disconnects because they don’t like the map and we all go back to lobby. Grrrrr

People were getting erroneous dc bans again, so probably.

Yes it's gone for now. It sucks but this is where things are. Better than having hackers from literally preventing you to play the game.

I wouldn't be surprised. They disabled it before because streamers were being hit with the DC Timer Exploit, then they re-enable it and it's happening again - it's literally as though they test nothing whatsoever. Don't get me wrong, the game is so unique and is definitely enjoyable at times but all the bugs that have been lurking in the game for months, and all the bugs that keep popping up with every update is a ######### joke. But knowing the devs, they probably won't bother skipping a chapter to focus on fixing bugs.

Well, it's still better than getting banned for 3 days from hackers.

It would explain the Increase in DCs I've been getting in games. even when not playing with oppressive killers and builds.

    Neas sure are mad lately.

The bugs have been lurking in this game for months? No no, that's wrong. They've been bad for years. Terrible bugs have plagued this game since it came out. Every time one bug was fixed another popped up. I really do love this game, it's unlike any other in it's genre (and was basically the thing that made this genre of survival horror so big) but the developers are so unacceptably negligent. Great idea of a game, but between badly implemented game design and a plethora of bugs since it came out, I get so frustrated with the game. I barely play it now because it's just not worth the time. Between insane toxicity on both sides, an awful community always begging for something to be nerfed, a never-ending conga line of bugs, and negligent developers that continue to release more and more killers that aren't really thought out and either op or useless perks, this game is just bad. I really want to enjoy playing it, the idea is there, it's a great idea. It's just so bad. It's a great game with basically nothing good about it. It's how I felt about rainbow six siege for a very long time, but compared to DBD, R6S is a perfect game with no bugs or balancing problems (and we know this to not be true)

The only example of this immense amount of negligence in a good game that I can think of is League of Legends as of late with the release of champions like yuumi or aphelios. Releasing things where you just look at the developers and think "what the ######### was the idea here" a permanently invulnerable champion and a champion with 48 different skills.

Did somebody say "200 years combined experience in video game development"? Because in steps Yone, you know yasuos brother with Yasuos passive, Q, Old evelynns ult on W, and zeds ult on his E. Whats his ult you ask? Well we watched a lot of anime and came up with a knock up aoe burst mix damage stun where Yone says "Nothing personal". Ressources? nah but he does do true damage as well as a mix of physical and magical

I've seen him get a Penta at level 1, and a Penta with only his ult.

It's been years since riot has released a champion at around 50% winrate. It's either abysmally bad or ridiculously good. Voli was awful when he was first reworked. Then they buffed him and for a short period he became the best jungler in the game.

Lillia I think is the one exception to riots bad game design. While her winrate is VERY low, she's not bad. She's just weird to play.

I legit stopped playing when Aphelios came out, I just couldnt be arsed to deal with Riots bullshit champion design or their game in general anymore. Maybe I just sucked but considering how difficult it got to carry if you were far ahead compared to a few seasons earlier it just wasnt fun for me anymore and aphelios was just the tip of the stupid iceberg.

But to the matter of fact which this thread is about, It really sucks about the dc penalty being gone again, although I understand why. I so dearly wished they had fixed their mistake and the bug with it, but I guess Billys add-on changes werent the only ones not making it into the patch :(

Honestly thinking that devs dont test things before releasing hotfixes or patches is kinda dumb. You do realize they could have patched the one way to do the dc exploit and people found a work around to do it again right? Its just like in other games players find glitches and it gets patched then another method is found couple days later/

I just wish my favorite games had developers that knew what they were doing behind them...it seems like every game that has a truly good idea behind it always has some ridiculous problems

It's not dumb to think this. If they were really testing (or at least putting effort into testing) they would find these workarounds. That is quite literally why you test these things. Testing isn't done to make sure the already fixed problems are fixed. Testing is done to find new ones and fix them. Workarounds only exist because testing wasn't done properly or at all. Now if you're talking about workarounds for hacking, that's completely different as hackers are actively making ways to work around their system. But with bugs, the workarounds already exist. It's just that they didn't find these workarounds because they're either not testing enough or at all.

Edit: my point is, the ONLY reason these bad bugs exist is either lack of testing or lack of effort into fixing them. Bugs exist because of developers, not players. all players do is discover the bugs. It's the play testers jobs, quite literally their job to discover these bugs before the patch is released. This is what a play testers is paid to do. If you're going to defend someone not doing their job then your stupidity is beyond me.

Thinking that a dev team doesnt test for bugs or anything like that is foolish. Have you not took the time to see how many people are actually working on dbd last I checked there wasnt that many as triple a title games. There are always going to be bugs its just with how small the dev team is it takes time. If you cant accept the fact that it takes time then just simply don't play the game or get over the bugs and continue on with the game. The game has had bugs since Day 1 and will always have bugs either it be sound bugs visual or gameplay breaking.

Simping for your favorite developers huh. No arguments you make on this topic can be considered legitimate with a bias that big. People are allowed to enjoy a game and see it's shortcomings. If you can't see that, that's your own problem.

Yikes a foolish child using new lingo the wrong way and not understanding how developing a game works. If the game was as trash as it is it wouldn't be getting more and more popular. Until you can have a actual intelligent debate and understand how things work then come back. Maybe then we can have a proper debate instead of you being foolish.

"This is popular so it's good" is such a naive statement. And just because something is a good idea and can be enjoyable doesn't mean it can't have a lot of problems. You really are just way too biased on this subject.

Also, an intelligent debate? You don't actually break apart any of the things I said. You call me childish and call this a debate with no more than "game popular so it's good"

In our entire thread you've done little more than talk about how "good" the game is without addressing any problems I mentioned. You name call. And you make excuses for the dev team.

    The irony is amazing.

But what can I expect from someone who thinks "intelligence" is a response like "understand how things work"
