I just got in a match and 4 gens are done under 8 minutes...
I literally just close the game because what is even the point anymore

8 minutes that's literally longer then my normal matches like what normal matches for me range from 3-5 minutes at tops.

Is this a bait thread? I can't tell because if 4 Gens took 8 minutes, what the hell was going on in the match? 1 Gen solo takes 80 seconds so... Confused here.

8 minutes for 4 gens is actually pretty slow.

Wait, what? 8 minutes for 4 gens is very slow, considering a single survivor can do 1 gen in 80 seconds. I often get games where all 5 are done in much less than 8 minutes, now that ruin got nerfed into oblivion. I recently watched a video where 4 gens were done in 3 minutes, 7 seconds:

Oh no, I agree completely that gen speed is too quick currently. Gen repair time should have been increased from 80s second to maybe 100-105 seconds when they nerfed ruin.
Devs said they are working on some kind of fix for gen rushing in the anniversary stream a couple of months ago, but we still don't know exactly how that will work. They likened it to the end game collapse, but for generators. So maybe if generators are being repaired too quickly, the entity is going to block all generators off for a short while? Dunno.

See, this is why I want an actual timelapse indicator in game. To prove whether the game is sped through. Just a simple clock that does nothing to the game but tell how long a game went. 😖

Even then, 8 minutes isn’t something to complain about. It isn’t gen rushing.
