Can we just sell unused items already!
They need to put in a system to be able to sell unwanted items back for blood points, even at a reduced price, Ive got so many brown toolboxes or pink new parts that I'm never going to use, I'd like the option to get rid of them.

I wish we could at least exchange them for other types of matching colors. Like flashlight and map attachments for toolbox and med kit attachments.

This would be great for the reasons you stated about having brown toolboxes and such that would never get used,
But it would also be good for when/if you are going to prestige a character, because you're gonna be lossing everything and it would be nice to be able to sell. even at a reduced rate as you said

I always just bring unwanted items to games and leave them for the killer as a peace offering.

This was also a point I was going to suggest, but I thought it would be too much work for them, it is a great idea though.

Bad addons and offerings are there to clutter the bloodweb and slow game progression. Even the bloodpoint offerings are basically marginally efficient.
Understanding this purpose, if they implement something like this, they will trash us in another way to make up for its benefits.
I’d prefer they leave it alone and considering this isn’t a new idea, they probably will.

It's a 50/50 Gamble. Most of the time I leave it at the exit gate just in case.

Even if it's for 1 bp each, I'd love to get rid of my half keys.

Most pointless item in the game, unless you are part of the A team and can build a tank out of a half key, a spring and and envelope, they are #########.

It would be a great addition, hell I would settle for an option to destroy stuff with no BP return. Why would I want The Game/Hawkins offerings in my Survivors inventory? or Red Forests/Increase Fog offerings on my Killers? or Midwich offerings in both?. Id rather get rid of them and make my offering inventory easier to navigate.
On top of that, map offerings are green so they always appear first before yellow and brown BP offerings.

This should be an option once your character has reached P3 status. Would give people a reason to actually want to prestige.

The only thing the broken key is good for is using it like the perk bond. Throw on some team mate aura readings and now you have a ghetto version of bond while still running 4 other perks.
Literally the only use this janky item has.

I'd have like 5k addons to sell just from Nurse alone. I have like 9 and 13 of the only 2 addons I use, easily 200+ on most others.
