It's always the potatoes who are toxic post game

Whenever a survivor send hate towards the killer at the end of the game, complaining about the way killer played it's often the weakest link.

When I play killer it's rare I'll get toxic messages from competent/decent/good survivors. When I do get messages from survivors, complaining about how I played, calling me a try hard, etc, it's often from a survivor whose isn't good at the game. The survivors that don't know how to loop nor rotate their camera.

It's the same when I watch a content creator, the survivors who are being toxic post game are the one's that played badly.

I believe the reason is that as they're not very good at the game, they have unrealistic expectations of how their opponent should play to make up for their lack of skill.

Comment if you agree or disagree that players who are often toxic post game are often the potatos.

Yup, had the same issue, till I turned off messages to stop the bile. I'm hoping with cross play we get the chat window like PC has, so I can easily give a GG to those (including the killer) who played well, especially when the killer gave us a fun game, or a decent challenge.

I think it is all individual. I have had plenty of really good players send salt because they got caught early. They expect to loop you for days, and when that doesn't happen, then they get salty. They also seem to be the ones that DC when they get caught.

As a killer and survivor main I’ve had my share in the past of messages from both sides. It’s not just survivors I mean sure some will say that it’s mostly survivors who do this. And then you also have one sided potato killer mains who come to the forums to angrily point the finger at the other side.

With killers I have more a of leeway with their messages, as I know how stressful killer can be. I always send a good game after matches regardless of the result, however, I do have a stress ball close by when I play killer.

I've actually became friends with Huntress who called me a gen rusher and some other names (he couldn't down me, and then he ignored me for the rest of the game, allowing me to do three gens).

Most good players play both side so they have an understanding that each side are just trying to play the game. Although I've had some strong survivors message me with salt post game.

EDIT: Due to poor grammar as I've had a couple of pints
