So about your MMR post devs.

If this is true then explain how im being matched with borderline babies if i preformed well against good players how is this possible how am i slaughtering these poor babies and your system is still matching me with them not gonna lie im not buying it.

I don't believe it was capturing our gameplay stats. It was just trying to predict if we'll win or not so when they did launch it, it would be able to tell who is skilled and who is not before putting us in a bracket after awhile. If it WAS, well, they dropped the ball on this but I doubt that's the case. I honestly think its gathering stats now.

I think your right on that tbh it just doesn't make sense how this is happening.

A post from a mod I saw said the data they gathered wasn't as good as they hoped, so most players are still effectively at 0.

I can't tell you exactly what happened, as I am obviously not on the dev team :P But this is such a huge overhaul that we should expect things to be a bit chaotic for a few weeks.

Yeah... I know what you mean about MMR being busted... First game as Trapper. I'm off to a great start!
Silver lining: They may have capped all those gens before I hit one, but by God, attempting to taunt me cost 1 of them an escape because while I have the mechanical/technical knowledge of a sprouting potato... I figured leaving a trap in the grass right by the exit might be a good idea.

Think of it like this..it was tracking but not being used for matchmaking..therefore not using it's own data to refine the matchmaking as it was still so random
