Any Means Necessary should be a base mechanic and not a perk.
I think resetting pallets should be a base mechanic and not a perk. The perk is too weak to be used in a "meta" perk build. Anybody else that agrees?

I use that perk quite a lot because I think this game is starved for mechanics that allow special actions with their own dedicated animations. I'd say the cooldown needs to be shorter or the perk should be base kit. I honestly wouldn't mind survivors having more mechanics they can use by default.

I've made an idea a weeks ago about buffing AMN, check out if you want 😘

No it shouldnt because it would make a lot of bullies bully the killer even more and harder
Yet ill give you one secret....you can play any perk you want and dont have to play a meta set of perk to have fun
Playing with underrated perks > any Meta build

If it was basekit people would just instabreak (more than they already do) pallets since they'd KNOW you could lift it back up if they leave it.
AMN only ever gets use because nobody uses it. If everyone had it for free it'd be even harder to use.
I'm not trying to be mean or anything, I just don't think it'd really help - except with experienced Survivors against newer Killers, which IMO isn't something that's desperately needed.
Also what would Yui's 3rd perk be?
I agree AMN needs help, major help in fact, but I don't think this is it.

If people could use Any Means Necessary as an additional tool used for bullying, they would have used it long ago, but they haven't.

No, it really shouldn't. Killers would never, ever be able to leave a pallet down. You would be forced to break each one, no questions asked, and may the deity or entity of your choosing have mercy on you if you forget to break a god pallet.
Any Means Necessary is a very strong perk when it works. The only downside is that the situations it works in are somehwta rare due to the nature of the game. But if every survivor started running it... I mean, it's better than DS/UB in the sense that it rewards skill instead of a lack thereof. Doesn't change the fact that it would be insanely strong.

Huntress would probably lose the game if she just broke every dropped pallet used in a chase. We need more interactions in DBD.

You would also use that argument if Any Means Necessary if it was meta and everybody would use it in their builds. For example Huntress would probably lose the whole game if she broke every dropped pallet during a chase, she'd have to mindgame, loop around the pallet in order to get a down.

Because its not worth having 4 people using a perk with 120s cooldown to get one Pallet up, bullies usually use a safe build to be sure killer takes a LOOOOONG time killing them, so they aint gonna drop their Head on for this perk since its not safe for them to play with 3 perks for 120s...but give it for free and...

Then why do you argue against having it as a base mechanic? If it had the same cooldown, how would that bully killers? You are literally arguing against yourself lmao

Because it's a perk with a cool down that's why it's not used frequently.
Most people wouldn't want to waste a perk slot when there are better perks to use if it was a lot more frequently accessible without having to Sacrifice anything of course people with use it to bully

Dude, that's literally what I'm saying... having it as a base mechanic would be much better because people would actually use it and not waste a perk slot for such a weak perk in its current state.

Uh... Yeah, that's what I was saying. It's an insane perk. The only reason people don't run it is because they think it's weak and don't realise that it's only weak if there's only 1 person on the team using it. So imagine if it was basekit, no need to give up a perk slot. The killer is literally forced to kick every pallet in the game lest it be reset. M1 killers and Huntress are immediately nerfed. You cannot leave a pallet up for any reason. If the survivor runs away from the loop, you're screwed.

The solution of hey let's make bad perks base kit doesn't help.
If you want a better benefit make the perk more usable so it fits as a suitable meta replacement.
The thing you're suggesting will basically just cause the meta to stagnate because there's no reason to switch your perk loadout

So you're basically saying that it would be a good idea to have it as basekit?

Huntress wouldn't really need to; just the safe ones and the ones at high wall loops. The others she can play around, standing or down.
People like Wraith, Clown, Trapper, Legion, and etc. though would have to break pallets in chase or after ending it.
DbD does needs more animations and Killer v. Survivor interactions, but I don't think being able to pick up pallets is one that should be basekit.

Basekit no. Buffed yes. The cool down even at tier 3 is ridiculous.

No, it would be OP AF if it was base kit. Killers would literally be forced to mindlessly kick pallets, because they cannot risk the survivor getting into a position where they can leave the loop without the pallet getting broken. Your suggestion takes way more interaction out of the game and tilts it even more toward survivors than gen speeds already force it. What you are essentially asking for is for everyone to start playing Bubba, Spirit, Nurse and Enduring/Spirit Fury Billy.

Maybe buff the cooldown to 40/50/60 seconds or something.

Nope, Keep it as a perk.
