i know shes s tier but i surprisingly suck at her i go into phase and listen stop when i think their next to me go to swing and theyre like 10 feet away. I try to follow scratch marks and they just double back on them. And i just get looped at pallets and windows since im a 110%. Any advice?

Hit them first and then phase, way easier to follow blood trails. Other than that, use good headphones

I've played 3 won 3 with her, not sure if that's S tier or me being good, but it's been quite easy for me playing her so far. I notice that survivors seem to panic when playing against her. My best tip which has worked almost every time, is the fake fazing at pallets. When at a dropped pallet or vault, just stand perfectly still for a few seconds. You'll be suprised as to how many survivors fall for you not actually fazing 😂

Spirit is about finding them based primarily on sound. This is why the perk Stridor is so good and why people say get good headphones.

Learning the location of survivors based on their grunts is the first thing you need to do. Injure a survivor and run up to them, then phase. It's really hard to lose a survivor if you phase on top of them. This will extend the chase but associating grunts with location is the first thing any Spirit should learn.

I struggled playing Spirit until I got good headphones. It really does make a huge difference. I can usually get 3-4 kills with her now.

Just press M2, and wait for the survivor to come at you. But hey. spirit takes skill, and double engravings billy are for noobs.

There are two methods of playing spirit I know of:

    • Tape keyboard to head + Bash mouse with forehead = Profit
    • Tape bacon to cat + ? = Profit

*sigh* i guess i just dont get it then. Like i listen for them at their loudest and come out of it right when i hear their grunt at maximum and i come out and im normally like facing the wrong way or something.

Don't swing unless you really need to. Use her phase in the shortest burst you can. Read the survivor your chasing and predict what they're going to do once you start phasing. Use your phase for traversal. Listen for audio cues but don't rely on them.

Because there's no difference between her standing still or using her power with how she looks compared to every killer.

Unless you break down every frame to see the exact changes.

I don't really play Spirit but I play a bit of Nurse. Headphones are absolutely required (basically for all killers but especially for these two, personally I have them but hate them and often just try to play without, but there is a massive difference between a stereo and stereo headphones as far as subtlety and direction goes).

Stridor (particularly if you have hearing issues or no headphones, even so it helps), Nurse's Calling + Sloppy Butcher, Infectious Fright, Discordance, etc are all good. Just like Nurse, you don't really need slow down perks, get tracking and/or M1 perks, you apply pressure by getting downs/hooks/injuries and make them support each other, bonus for basement hooks. Check out Not Otzdarva on YT, he has a 6 hour Killer build guide and about 4,000 more hours in the game than me.
