Any advice for getting back into the game?
Lobby simulator holds me back a little plus I am in a PS4 party with my buddies whenever i'm on and I like to play the game when i'm alone.
Used to play this game a lot but I just lost the motivation to, nothing wrong with the game.

Its been worse recently on the PS4. Patch 4.10 has caused serious FPS issues in-game. Especially for Killers.

As survivor, mindlessly hold m1and you'll pick up everything else pretty quick. The game has basically become an m1 simulator, since killers have been forced to git gud and many of the characters are insane in a chase.
As killer, ignore the rulebook and make the best play for your situation. Which is rarely camping or tunelling, but it can happen. Also, if the survivors come in with the "gens before friends" mindset and wait til the last second to save so they get as much gen time as possible, camp and force hook states. Nothing else you can really do, or else you're giving them the best of both worlds. Does it suck? Yes. But they made their choice.

Play nurse. Console survivors are never, toxic (for lack of a better word) to new nurses. Games are always off the charts on the fun factor! /s
All jokes aside. For all the bugs and what seems like real life war between the 2 sides, there is nothing like this game anywhere else. Some of the moments between turning a corner into a stealthing Ghostface, or getting that last second pallet stun on a tier 3 Myers are dull but those games where everyone is on an equal level skill wise and you're on the edge of your seat for the whole game are what keep me playing. I take some days off but cant stop playing. Its an addiction for me.
