Haven't played it long enough to give a full endorsement, but I'm definitely leaning toward Yes.

It's not all good news though. All these instant lobby's are preventing me from finishing my sandwich.

Faster killer queues, and in my experience console survivors have been far less toxic and more fun to play against. They just seem more chill in general which I like, as both killer and survivor.

As a PS4 player, yes as s survivor, no as a killer

Hahaha that is so true. As a PS4 player during queue times I used to eat a sandwich, clean the plate, grab some drinks, see that nu fridge is empty, go the store, get home Just in time to switch some perks around

It's incredible for me to think that now that crossplay is enabled. It means it is possible to meet everyone that plays core DBD.
Right now it's a: "Hey do you play DBD? Awesome, let's play together! 😁"
Before that it was: "Hey do you play DBD? Mhm, ok... But on which platform though? 😕"
Most of the time the answer to that would have been really disappointing... Now it really doesn't matter. They could be on PS4, on XBOX, on the toaster, the fridge. Who cares? If they do play it, they can play with you.
And this is not even addressing the benefits of shorter queue times, and the broader players that can be matched with you (useful for rank matchmaking or MMR).
And there is always the choice to opt out of it too.
I understand that there can be some negative aspects for some players, and i totally get that. I just think the pros outweight the cons here.

The only thing I'm really missing right now is being able to say gg in post game chat and everyone getting it. I'll miss being able to show good sportsmanship.
At the same time though, I pretty much never have to see "gg ez" again, so...
