Optimization should have been a top priority before Cross-play
It is really nice to see players happy about Cross-play and most of the feedback as been very positive.
However, I really do they should have made console players (Xbox & PS4) at least the 60 fps that was promised first. I can’t even imagine what killers on these platforms are doing on maps like: Lery’s, Hawkins, Ormond and Midwhich. I have yet to play on these maps as these maps run like ass, if I am being honest. Add a killer like Demo, Doctor, Hag, Nurse, Pyramid Head, Freddy or Spirit and you get 20-30 fps Max. Getting hit with an attack from the killer that causes a status effect (Sloppy, Hex: Third seal, etc) makes the game lag. Playing as killer and getting bloodlust, makes the game lag as well.
Right now, for me at least, (My opinion) it seems like they rushed out Cross-play to please PC players.
And yes, I know you can disable it. Disabled or not, Optimization should be a priority.

The game is not optimized on PC aswell.
I have a R5 2600 + RTX 2060 + 16 GB 3200 Mhz and high speed SSD
Everything is top notch quality from fans to RAM and motherboard, also, everything is overclocked (2600 @ 4.0 Ghz; 2060 @ 2010 Mhz; RAM timing optimized with RamCalculator; windows 10 fully optimized for gaming, inside the usual settings and inside register)
On some maps, in low quality, i have 85 FPS while my CPU usage is around 25%, max core usage is around 65% and GPU usage is 40%.
I can run every other demanding games in 144fps constant no matter what happens on the screen. Can run BFV on high (with some ultra) @ 100 fps constant without any drops but for Dbd nope, can't.
Some players on i9 + 2080Ti cant even get 100 fps constant in 1440p lol
So i don't even imagine how it runs on PS4 on some maps...
