I just realized why Bamboozle has been bugged for years
I really wanted to incorporate Bamboozle into my builds, but it doesn't activate for me about two-thirds of the time.
I just realized why- Bamboozle only blocks windows the KILLER vaults, not the survivor. I've been (mostly with Wraith) sidestepping vaults for years and raging about how Bamboozle wasn't closing them off for the survivor :/
TLDR: I am dumb.

Maybe change your title to "I thought it was bugged" or something otherwise this might simply be seen as a bait thread, since their is no year long unidentified bug but just your misunderstanding.

It says that in the description.... Dude... Make sure you read the description and test perks in kyf so u don't have that vital mistake happen again

Technically it doesn't say that, it just says "performing a vaulting action causes..."- the sentence has no subject. I always thought that meant a survivor.

I don’t blame you, I’ve carried wrong info for years too. The game is vague and makes us have to care enough to go to other sites who are willing to experiment/play test/ and REVEAL accurately what the perk is doing, how it’s triggered and what benefits and negatives it brings.

Just make it like current Bamboozle in that it has a cap on the amount of windows that can be blocked.
Survivors who vault a window quickly within a 40m range of you cause The Entity to block the window for 15 seconds. The blocked window is revealed to you in white.
Only a total of 1/2/3 Windows can be blocked at any one time.

I used to use bamboozled early on when I first started to play killer as Legion, but I noticed that back then if I vaulted a window, and if a survivor was quick enough, they could vault back through that same window I blocked off if they started the animation before the entity blocked it. Since then, I haven't really used it at all. Not sure if this got fixed or is working as intended.

I never use Bamboozle because I never get vaults 99% of the time that I'm in a chase.
