When will match making get sorted?

Match making is definitely faster now. But as a survivor for me I either go against rank 10+ killers (I was rank 1 survivor before reset) or I go against rank 1 killers. So I go against any rank killer basically. But as a rank 16 killer. I’m gonna try and push killer rank to a good rank. 😂 wish me luck! But I’m going against difficult survive with friends. That gen rush n all that. I have just been against 2 rank 5 survivors (rank 1 before reset) a rank 8 and a rank 9. What’s the point in having ranks when it’s totally useless? People are telling me that matchmaking is about you skill level now. What’s the point in that? Please someone explain because I am getting tired of waiting for matchmaking to be sorted.
