Predator Perk Rework Concept
Currently the effect of Predator puts you at a disadvantage instead of giving you an advantage. The scratch marks being closer together means you cannot see scratch marks on rocks/trees/other objects in the environment, which actually makes survivors harder to track.
My concept for a rework is as follows:
Your acute tracking ability allows you to sense the precise location of running survivors leaving disturbances.
Moving on Scratch Marks left by a running survivor for 5/4/3 seconds triggers Killer Instinct on that survivor within a 24 meter radius.
This ability is deactivated during a chase.
If this is technically too difficult/impossible to program, as scratch marks being tied to a specific survivor could be hard to implement, this perk could alternatively just reveal the location of all survivors within a 24 meter radius. That would be quite strong, but that's in the case that this is too technically difficult to implement. Either way, this is just a concept.

That's a bit much. If it gets any buff or rework, it should make the marks bigger and turn them into arrows that last a bit longer than normal.

This might sound stupid but what if predator gave each survivor a unique colour for scratch marks they leave behind. This could help with tracking a specific survivor or avoiding your obsession etc...

This rework/buff would make Spies from the Shadows somewhat useless due to the 24 meter radius being kinda big and no cooldown. Spies from the Shadows has a 5 second cooldown and 36 meter radius. The Killer Instict also wouldn't work effectively on stealthy survivors that crouch walk when they hear terror radius, so unless you are using Monitor & Abuse or perks that makes the terror radius go away, it's quite useless.
Also don't worry about it being too difficult to program, they know how to program in multiple ways.

My idea would be to add another function to it, like:
You gain 7%(or any other number) movement speeds bonus while following(walking on) scratch marks (this effect won't trigger in chases).
It's still a good tracking perk and will help a lot to catch up survivors who have built so much distance.
