Should I buy Freddy Krueger or The Plague DLC?
Sooo, I sold all of my items on CS:GO and decided to buy a new DLC. I come to options for Plague and Freddy.
I love Freddy, but the Plague is overpowered in my opinion, so I'm in a mess.
I don't want to play with their survivors, I'm happy with Bill these days. And also, please don't say "if you play for long games and avoiding survivors reparing gens you should buy plague, or if u want to scare buy freddy" etc. etc. I just wanna hear which DLC did u guys enjoy most.

Buy Freddy, you can buy plague with Iridescent Shards.

Plauge for perks. Freddy if you want easy wins and bloodwarden + NOED combo

Freddy is the stronger Killer but Plague has the better Perks.
If you want to invest real money, go for Freddy, since he is licensed and you have to pay for him anyway. You can get Plague at a later point for Iridescent Shards (so basically for free).

Both are strong but very different. I´d suggest checking out content creators and what their take on them is.
Perkwise, the Plague brings a lot more to the table than Freddy though.

Plague. If you want to avoid OP killers, avoid Freddy. Strong AF and super easy to boot, he is. Plus, all of Plagues teachables are good, and if you but the DLC you get Jane...

Freddy. Because you can't get him without paying real money. And he's the strongest killer of the two. And easy to play.
Plague has better perks though.

I would recommend Freddy since you can’t get him any other way. Plague you can still get for free if you rack up enough Iridescent Shards.
If you’re going more for perks then Plague. All of her teachables are really good and two of them are considered meta, where none of Freddy’s is considered meta.

all can be gotten with shards.

If you wanna a strong, fun and easy to play, go for Freddy.
We killer mains deserve sometimes an easy mode, as the survivors have theirs (being survivor). Freddy is like a owning machine with low effort in a good build.

Sarcasm aside. Having played both killers I would say Plague is more interesting to play especially after her buff and her perks are objectively better and have more utility.

Plague has better perks and I like her more. Besides Jane has Head On which is one of the best perks ever created. Freddy is fun too and Quentin is cute thought.

Like most people are suggesting, buy Freddy and work on building up shards for Plague. It might take more time, but your wallet will thank you.

Really really thanks everyone! %70 of the page said Freddy. I've just bought it and played five matches. My opinions are MY AND MY AND MY, Quentin's perks are not good enogh, maybe Vigil. And for Freddy, it's all about end-game. But I liked the killer.
But some of them said Jane's perks. I didn't know about that "Jane" and searched it. The Head On or something is pretty good, that locker thingie. Also, I've just figured out the Plague's blood purge. So I'm in a mess. Maybe I'm going to sell it. I don't know.

Oh and also, the Freddy's POV is so... how can I say. It's interestğing I donna know. It has so many animations and its aim is a little awkward.

Freddy is a stronger killer.
Plague has 2 meta perks, she probably the best set of teachables in the game.
I would buy Freddy and then save my shards to get Plague.

Avoid plague right now until they confirm they fixed her bugs and her aim problem.
I would have suggested plague because she has the ability to stall the game and put the entire team into a 1 shot situation, very unique playstyle. But freddy has some pretty sick moves as well, so if you can learn him, more power to ya.

I like Freddy more, but his Dream World ######### eats 15 FPS and makes him unplayable on like half the maps, so I rarely play either one.

So you chose Freddy, who gets better with perks from other killers. I like to use Discordance, from the Legion, since if 2 survivors are on the gen at the same time, you get a notification and can just teleport there. As for the Plague, since she is not a licensed killer, if you save 9000 shards you can use them to buy her.

Freddy is a premium character stuck behind a pay wall. He is extremely OP (coming from someone who has played a LOT of Freddy, both before and after reboot, he was OP before, he's OP now for different reasons). Premium characters stuck behind a pay wall that are OP are p2w) - can I be any more clear than that.

Freddy wasn't OP before lol. He still isn't.
His basekit is fine now however I feel like they need to change PainBrush:tm: and Swing Chains (especially together).
If you want OP characters- Nurse and Spirit. They're both free (Nurse is included in the base-game, Spirit can be bought with shards and is free on the Nightmare Edition and Switch edition). This game isn't P2W. Sure, there's a strong character that costs money but stronger characters are free.
Also, look at people like Otz and @DudeDelicious who can win with killers many people call ######### (Trapper and Clown). They're both free (Clown by technicality).
DBD is not P2W.

I'm glad people think that because I'll was face rolling with him before and after re-boot and will continue to do so happily as long as the illusion of Freddy not being OP or p2w persists so all good here.
Nurse is not OP, just extremely high skill ceiling for extremely high reward.
Spirit is OP easy-mode hand-held crutchlord class which is why they're preping an extinction level nerf for her

I mained Freddy pre-rework. I do main Freddy post-rework. I was steamrolling teams as old Freddy. That doesn't mean he was OP.
Freddy isn't P2W. DBD isn't P2W.
Nurse is OP however the time and effort it takes into getting that good as Nurse makes it pretty worth it.
Where did they say they were nerfing Spirit?

Plague is midtier at best. . . how do you consider her OP?
Freddy is red rank viable, so if you're looking for something to go against the sweaty swf squads, Freddy is it.
