The shining chapter?

I don't think enough people are talking about the possibility of a Shining chapter, it already fits the formula? Killer: Jack Torrance, Map: The overlook hotel, Survivor(s): Wendy Torrance, Dick Hallorann. That and the rumors about people on twitter starting to follow stephen king, although im sure stephen king wouldn't be too happy about it (as he hates the stanley Kubrick shining) he at least acknowledges the cult following around the movie, and with the recent release of Doctor Sleep, (directed by stephen king) being a direct sequel to stanley kubrick's i don't see it being too far off.
