Proximity Chat?
How would you feel about having a proximity chat in dbd? Where within x amount of meters, players can talk through the mic. The killer would also have access to this as well, being able to either talk or torment survivors. This wouldnt be for any sort of advantage, but more for fun content. I think it would be pretty funny to hear a killer just start screeching as they're chasing a survivor, etc. What do you guys think? Anything to add?

I would love this addition, but it would never be added because of toxicity issues.
Imagine getting death threats for failing a skillcheck on a co-op generator.

I would prefer they just add chat that only survivors could hear with a mute button for each player. Most people wouldn't use the proxy chat over discord so it would be kinda pointless. But if they at least added survivor chat solo queues could be on the same playing field as swf groups and that would actually help balance the game.

Thats what u would love, because its funny imo. Unless the person is actually serious, which I won't doubt that people like that exist.

Just use Discord or the platform built in chat.

It's never going to be added to the game. People are already bad enough in the lobby chats without having access to in-game voice chat.
