New to the game. 90% unhappy

I just got this game 3 weeks ago. This game won't make it if the killer is this not fun to play. It is so obvious the killer is under-powered. I wanted to like this game. But the 1st person Killer camera. The body blocking. The fact that survivors will not leave. And are 100% brave enough to rescue someone off a hook, right in front of a killers face every game. These are all signs if imbalance. Are they gonna fix this soon? It is bad that a new player is already looking for a new horror game. If all you veterans love this game. You might wanna start complaining soon. Or your game will die.

You should learn to better manage the progress on gens since that's the primary objective, just get a strategy for gen rotation as well as some decent perks to postpone the quickness of completed generators. I got this game about a month and a half ago and I'm a rank 3 killer.

Killer can be incredible frustrating. Especially against SWF. You all know that. The fact that a new player already sees the problems is sad. Because usually it's the veterans that complain about the exact same things.

The game won't die, because there is always a sale for it. With a steady influx of new killers. Many veterans have left because of the very reasons OP describes. And there are even more, he luckily hasn't encountered yet.

Game is a mess. Devs balance around low ranks and think they did a pretty good job.

This game can be incredible addicting. Many veterans have spent over 1000 hours in it. But it's equally frustrating and unbalanced.
Devs started going into the right direction with the last patch. But it seems like the devs gave in to review bombing. We'll see.

Where is this "influx"? I've seen the stats the community is not bigger it's smaller lol.

Now imagine how the community would have shrinked without new players.

This person here is right. I'm one of those veterans that hung up his Trapper mask.

Come back when you have 1000+ hours plus in this game, if you already don't like it you will continue to dislike it. It's not a game you can learn or master within a few weeks. Sorry to say but even this post is pointless the you're just extremely inexperienced.

Game is unbalanced of course but for the most part only if both sides know what to do and how.
Survivors can rush gens and loop, majority of players fail at both.
The game isn't really a horror game after first week or two, it is competitive game that sadly have some uncounterable strategies but it still is fun.

Imagine winning a game with killer widely rated as worse from the entire game against rank1(highest) team of survivors and killing them all without using mori's or 1shot perks. Feels nice.

Don't be naive, they know all of this and are willingly disingenuous.

In an attempt of lobbying to keep the actual bully simulator.

Basically you can see what's really going on because you are not under "pressure", see if there are new mistakes and get better instead of just saying it's too unbalanced over and over.
I got 2800 hours in elder scrolls online (+  other 1500 hours when i had the non steam version) and i'm still learning from mistakes i make in pvp.

I'm saying that yet having lots of hours spent on a game doesn't mean there's nothing left to learn, especially when they keep adding new stuff.
Pretty sure you've seen it yourself, some 4k hours of gameplay players making terrible mistakes.

Now imagine how the community would have shrinked without new players.

Show me some evidence that this "influx" isn't something more than a thought you've conjured up? I've seen the stats and it shows a significant drop in the past 8 weeks and a huge drop in average players per day in that period. If you have evidence that shows this community some how got bigger I'd love to see it? I want facts and evidence not an assumption (there's a difference).

I´m not saying the community is getting bigger. I´m saying the community would have shrinked faster, if Behavior wouldn´t offer their game at a 50% discount every month.

You realise the game has been around over 2 years and has more players then ever?

If you are having trouble playing killer try play survivor and learn what the killer does to kill you

check steam spy dude two months back 35k players were playing dbd on any given day (on average) which has now dropped to 25k that's a huge drop, not sure why you think there are more players than ever it's simply untrue.

That's the f2p people not being able to play after free period ended.

Don't mind them, friend, they are the ones who are toxic towards killers in this game, and they bring their ######### here. You are speaking the truth, and they are mad about it.

    @Doc_W__HOLLIDAY

He won't do this, because, ekhem "I LIK DI CHALLANG, KILLAH TOO EZ, SURWIWOR TRU HARDCR MODE IN DIZ GAIM"

Says the guy with bars on his avatar. Lul

I do not see you complaining about bars, when your fellow toxic survivor is speaking, hypocrite.

The imbalance wilö always stay, it's a tool to keep the 1:4 ratio that is needed for this game

You didn't purchase a horror game btw, nascar sim or bullying sim would be more accurate

The killers are good for the exception of wraith, freddy and leather-billy. The 1st person camera is there for a reason, otherwise survivors wouldn't be able to hide at all. If they are body blocking smack'em or drop survivor and go after them, up to you. If they are unhooking once again - smack'em, take them both down and hook them. And most important learn the game, You are not gonna pick up on everything in just a few days.
