My Review of the PTB (so far)

As we know, everything in the PTB is subject to change before it is released to Live. This is simply my review of Day 1 on the PTB.

Graphical Update:

I love how the new updates to the graphics look! Everything looks pretty spooky and I really like the atmosphere. I am a bit concerned about how it will run on Console though. Badham isn't normally super low FPS, but the Boiler Room can cause FPS to tank very fast. Yamoaka Estate does cause some FPS issues already, so I guess we will have to see.

New Survivor:

I like the design of the new Survivor, he seems pretty cool! Visionary seems like a good beginner perk, sort of like Windows of Opportunity. Desperate Measures could be incredibly good, but is basically a nerf to Legion lol. Built to Last seems situational at best, but it could be fun!

New Killer:

Very cool design for the Killer. He looks amazing! There are some issues though. Let's start with the good first. His perks are fantastic. Dragon's Grip is great! The ability to get instant downs after kicking a gen is very much appreciated. The cooldown is a bit long, but it is 60 second of Exposed, so I think it is fair. Hex: Blood Favor could be good if the range where a bit more, but as of right now, most Survivors will use the Sprint Burst they get from being hit to make distance and it will take them far from the affected pallets. Hex: Undying has the potential to be a game changer. You can see when people are cleansing your totems AND (so long as the totem is up) you keep your Hex perks if they are cleansed. This is big news for Ruin. It may actually allow it to be an EndGame perk.

Now, onto the bad. The Killer's power is very underwhelming. In my opinion, he seems like an even worse version of Legion. He seems hard to control, and his power is easy to dodge. Not only that, but he cannot chain hits together like Legion can. He also bumps into surfaces very easily and he has to wait for his power to fully recharge before he uses it. He needs a lot of work, imo, to be good. Right now, I would put him below Legion in my own personal tierlist. He looks fun to play, but his viability is questionable.

tl;dr New perks and graphics good, new Killer power bad. Feel free to comment your suggestions and what you liked/didn't like!

1 thing i want to change about the killer:

Add the fatigue on when he misses an attack during his rush

Remove the fatigue when he succesfully hit a survivor with his rush.

Now you are getting punished for using your power perfect and getting less punished for missing

This sounds very weird to me.

Hé needs more changes but this is the first thing that come up with me

I agree, his Fatigue period should be less if he hits a Survivor.

I think the fact that if you miss an attack or dont do your rush for even 1 second after the initial rush you get punished is ridiculous, it makes maps like the treatment theatre and lampkin lane impossible because of all of the obstacles

I think the missing an attack thing is fine. You should be punished for missing (gonna be a nightmare to play on Console tho.) I do agree that he needs a larger window to activate a second dash.
