The Blight actually has references to Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde

When the chapter was teased, some people started saying "Jekyll and Hyde", but it was already obvious the new killer was going to be the alchemist from the Hallowed Blight. I actually expected him to be called The Alchemist too. However, his design is based on Mr Hyde. Besides being transformed by the serum, wich we already knew, he is short, just like Mr Hyde in the famous novel (he was only turned enormous in later comics and movies). And the coolest part: he wields a cane as a weapon. Hyde beats a man to death with a Cane on the book.

This is really nice. I just think he could have a bit more, instead of just being a six-fingered and more monstrous Mr Hyde, he could've had more features of his own, like orange blisters appearing on his hands and back, more putrid serum flowing out of his skin and weird appendages coming out of his body. I mean, his design looks sick (figuratively and literally, and that's awesome), but his body doesn't look as horrifying as some of the Hallowed Blight and Withering Blight cosmetics, and his whole concept is about that.

Also, his abilities didn't have to be so human-like just because he is based on a human character. Just... running faster? After being teased since 2018 and receiving such a cool cinematic in 2019, he deserved a more creative power. Imagine the possibilities he had one related to injecting survivors with serum-made formulas instead.

Anyway, I loved the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde references, I just think the concept had far more potential.

It honestly feels like the devs were just playing Apex Legends and just used that speed guys 'ability' as a basis for the power. I forget his name, but it really just seems like that, but a horror version.
