The new Yamaoka map is terrible for tracking
I think this map is gonna be miserable to play on as killer (besides maybe Trapper, Ghost Face, & Pig). The grass on the ground is practically everywhere & it's so thick that it's hiding scratch marks from the killer (especially shorter killers). Blendette's are going to thrive on this map way more than the previous iteration of the map. The grass even hides blood very well, so all a Blendette needs is Iron Will & they can disappear into the wind like its nothing.
Maybe blood & scratch marks need to be visible on the grass as well rather than only the ground. Tracking is receiving a major nerf with just this map alone, & it's going to map this map as hated as Haddonfield & Ormond. The grass on certain areas of the new Badham maps is even a bit problematic in this same way, but at least the map isn't like 50% grass unlike Yamaoka.

That's the point less god palette more hiding. You can't have it all.
I like looping more but since all killers main cried for month this is what we get.

It's annoying not finding survivors because of the tall grass, but at the same time, it's fun finding that survivor who thinks they're well hidden in the grass right next to the generator they just left and braining them.

Yeah but a blendette with spine chill, iron will, and sprint burst will have no issues.

Foliage should never hide scratch marks. It's insanely counterintuitive. That being said, if they keep the audio changes and make it so that killers can actually hear survivors footsteps like they used to, then who cares. But, thanks to some absolute moron (and yeah, whomever came up with the idea to remove sounds from a chase was a complete moron. Sorry Devs) scratch marks and blood are the only tracking tools killers have left... And they get hidden by foliage, the most common prop in DBD. And even when there's no foliage, scratch marks are notoriously unreliable because they want people to run Predator.

It's easy to know they have those though, and once you know they do, you know to look more carefully in the tall grass.

Yeah but we also can't spend a whole match checking every grass patch lol.
