Remove it. ######### is so annoying and unfair, every time I lose anything I'm carrying because I'm hooked or it is impossible to find the item. ######### this perk.

Losing dropped items is kinda the idea behind Franklin's Demise, and its a way for the killer to counter items in the game. You can evade a flashlight or run lightborn, but there is nothing else you can do against a map or a key. This allows the killer to potentially remove these items from play, assuming no survivor recovers the dropped item.

It's totally fine. Not that many players run the perk in the first place.
I run it on like.. 1 killer, and honestly, it doesn't matter that much because the survivors always go back for their items. They rarely have time to despawn from the game.
And if you can't find where you dropped it, then you need to start paying better attention to your surroundings.

If your entering a match with 3-4 Survivors carrying an item (especially a key) and you feel like the Killer might of brought Franklin's then drop your item in a spot you feel like nobody else would check then go back for the item once you confirm there isn't Franklin's or once Gates are opened and leave before getting hit.

Yeah, I've gone against Franklin's multiple times, but the area the item is put in seems really inconsistent, it would be placed farther away than where I was actually it.

any time I run it, each survivor always manages to have an item in their hand by the next time i find them

Yeah. That's the point of the perk. Removing items from survivors. That is the only time it gets any value.

That’s the point of the perk. Also, it’s an item. Not that big of a deal, unless you brought your last event item. In that case it’s all on you. You decided to take that risk.

Its not that I can't always find it, which sometimes I can't find it because its in grass or some #########, but its just because if you get hit and then hooked and youre on the hook for a bit then its ######### gone

No ######### but if youre bringing a rare item or you want to heal yourself and you just never can because of franklins. I just get hooked and then it disappears before i can get to it.

I just hope they change it so the item reappears in your inventory, or something like that. I'm sick of losing bloodpoints to this perk.

How would that be fair? Items are not a necessary part of the game in any sense. It's simply a perk that removes advantages, not creates them.

I'd just be happy anytime the killer "wastes" a perk slot on FD and not something more bothersome.
Plus I've made a habit of only bringing brown stuff so I don't have to bother looking if it gets knocked off my hand. Or bring a brown medkit & syringe combo and stick it into the first person to get injured so the medkit gets consumed anyway.
