Matchmaking locked for no reason

I just played a legion on xbox with my friends and got disconnected due to his internet and got matchmaking locked for around 3 minutes, in this match my friend got stuck in the ground next to a hill on the Campbell’s church map and the hatch spawned in front of him but he died. Ps my friend recorded a clip of it
