Getting hit after the sound and animation

some times i am playng as survival and i get hit for absulutally nothing

the sound of hit just had get out for 0.4 seconds and the animation just had end

i get hit because my clothes touched his stopped knife

it was that proposital or its an bug or latency that will be resolved when we get better servers?

    Latency. And no, it will likely not be solved unless the Devs want to create an in-depth bot to replace killers, because no-one wants to play a game where you hit the survivor and nothing happens because on their screen you ever-so-slightly missed.

    VPNing, on the other hand (creating so much latency the killer isn't even near you and you get hit) is going to supposedly be solved shortly.

    Dedicated servers. Unless you're running spinechill, resilence, quick and quiet (takes away a frame), just expect to get hit.
