Hawkins National Lab- The Gate To The Upside Down Discussion

Hello the community of Dead by Daylight and thank you for spending your time on reading the post.

From the very beginning since the Stranger Things chapter released, i was always wondering if the gate on the Hawkins Lab could actually take The Survivor/ Killer into the another dimension.

For all we know, every trial is happening in one world-That is the Entity world, but on the lab there is also a passage to another dimension but now, would the Entity allow it to work? And if the gate indeed works in the Entity's Realm, why would The Entity do that? The Upside Down is probably an uncharted territory for the Entity, so letting the survivors and killers in would probably cause trouble.

So, what do you guys think? Is the Upside Down Gate on the Hawkins National Lab realm indeed working, or is it just some manifestation by the Entity? If you think it does work, why do you think Entity would allow that? I'd love to hear what you guys think!

(PS: Yes... I Know we can't check ourselves in-game, but some elements can be only answered in discussions like this)

Possible answer 1: it is a creation by the Entity based on demo's/steve/nancy's memories

Possibility 2: It is an actual portal linking the entity's realm to the upside down and was needed to actually bring demo here/allow demo to us its powers

3: the portal just happened, and the entity doesn't know what to do with it (i mean, it does keep biting off more than it can chew lately)

4: the upside down IS the entity's realm, just a different pocket of it.

I think that the upside down on the Entity's realm is simply another sub realm of the whole dimension, pretty much like Red Forest, Yamaoka State, Mount Ormond, Haddonfield, Springwood, etc. However, it should be a realm that only Demogorgon can go to (as seen in game), unlike the others where survivors can have their trials on.
