PS4 overheating when playing dbd

I’m aware this is a problem with a lot of dbd console players. Just wondering if they’re onto a fix or did I just waste £15 on a game that don’t work on console.

    Your PS4 should only overheat in the offerings screen. It should not overheat at any other time.
