You know, if you stop giving up instantly once you see something you don't like you can actually

learn something and even have fun.

Just saying. There is always something you can try doing even against most notorious and broken killer setups (Like spirit with best addons, mori and stridor). Even if you don't make it out alive, you can still get some points or train different tactics like stealth. You can even learn or train different tricks and jukes against killers you dislike.

But if you just perform hook suicide, DC or lead killer to teammates in order to finish the match quickly, you'll never learn anything. You will never learn, get any points and you will just end up being another loser, who gives up instantly once seeing something harder than you expected.

I'm mostly talking to survivors, since they are the once who quit/throw more often than killers, though this goes to killers in some way. Even if you won't win, you still can learn and practice that time, when you get "these" survivors. Just don't quit because you decided that's too difficult for you. There is always something you can get even out of worst situations. Get a chance to practice your power on huntress or some other skillcap killer, get better at looping and mindgaming or simply get as much points as you can.

As for you, people who trashtalk in chat and BM because you are winning and your opponent is just trying to play the game even though he is not doing well. Nobody loves you. Deep down inside you know that, but never admit even to yourself. Get some help. Get this poison out of yourself and stop spitting acid on other people in a desperate attempt of trying to raise up your self confidence because you feel safety behind internet anonymity and just end up ruining everybody's day and enjoyment in this already pretty frustrating game. Just know you are awful, but you still have a chance for redemption.

Thanks.

I agree that DC & instant suiciding sucks, but it’s not that deep bro. No reason to tell someone that nobody loves them lol

Look, if those arsehole teammates let me go to second stage because they were too busy being SWF and not giving a damn, I'm not struggling. They can all die for all I care, because they didn't care about me.

Could at least spend that time and take out extra struggling points. You might even get unhooked in process and nobody knows what may happen next. By suiciding you don't give any chances for any miracles to happen.

Oh, I know they'll unhook me... Sometimes I'll even wait for them to get close before I let go. Because I'm always running Kindred, and they know they have no excuse. Gens before friends? Bye. I don't want a miracle, I want them to be as miserable as they make all their random teammates.

Nah, I'll skip that obnoxious spirits addons, especially if she has stridor.

I've had a few matches that I couldn't have predicted we'd ever escape from, and honestly they were the most fun I've had for a while. Unhooked the only other survivor in the institute from the basement against spirit and was still able to get us both out. David was about 4 seconds from being sacrificed.

I just faced a red rank SWF with 3 flashlights as Hag. They proceeded to destroy me and then brag about how they have over 10,000 hours in game between them and 2 are 2016 players. I will lobby dodge that ######### next time.

The other night I loaded into a match. Freddy was the killer. Badham was the map. A teammate DCed within 10 seconds of the match starting. Do you think that match was fun? No. It wasn't. Not even remotely. Especially since the Freddy had no interest in mercy. Which is fair enough. Not his fault our teammate decided to 'nope' out of there. If you think Freddy isn't fun, how do you think survivors feel when they're at a disadvantage against him down one teammate within the first 10 seconds of the game?

Of course you will never learn anything with such mindset. Besides, "little counterplay" and "no counterplay" are different things. What you named above has "little counterplay", but not "no counterplay". Escaping or at least getting the best out of worst is not impossible.

You get more points by letting Struggle off and searching for a new game than farming measly ~800 Survival points.

Also if your teammates let you go into Struggle without a valid reason (Killer camping, finishing the last gen, opening the gates, cleansing Devour etc) if you get saved odds is the Killer will be near the hook very soon because he knows once the Survivor realize noone went for the save they all go for it and flock the hook, leading the Killer to find the entire team in one point. What Im trying to say if you get into Struggle without a valid reason odds are you are going to die real soon anyway.

Maybe next time don't buy a team based asymmetrical competitive survival game... Just saying. If the killer is a ridiculous toxic build that's no reason to justify leaving the others stuck in that match with a handicap. You try to sound like you're punishing the killer, I personally laugh as killer when I get "quitter bonus"... But even then I'll even let 1 escape (as long as they weren't being toxic). Very self centered way of looking at the game don't you think?

I haven’t dc for selfish reasons, YET (most cuz I had to do something and it would have lasted long than the game, tho it is my fault that it happened). I feel that 5,000-9,000 BP for a 15 minute game isn’t worth it. Having one gen done after 2-3 people hooked is so disheartening and feel bad man. I don’t like dc cuz I have a personal commitment to the match but I can see why many would. Some killers are hard and unfun to play against especially when using certain builds or play styles. I can’t learn something if there is nothing to learn.

When I get left to second hook, in my case. It not due to swf, it due to a large map. Claud self caring in the corner. Nae doing nothing but crouching around the map. Making me question if I got rank 20 players again. Which is often the case. For even with mmr turn off, match making can still be screwy at times.

But if you give up, that killers kill stats skyrocket and it will get them nerfed instead of having to learn.

It has been working so far.

So I'm going to add this:

If you aren't going to get me off the hook and leave me until I'm almost dead. So then the killer goes right after me again and I'd dead. When I can sense a game like that? Why on earth should I try?

Teammates leading the killer to me while another is on the hook and I have Kindred on or they knew I was there? Yeah no.

    Going to facecamp or tunnel.

Why on earth should I stay in those kinds of games?

Why should I stick around and try to help teammates in that case?

Why should I give the killer more points to hook me when they are doing that? I have no fun - and get no BP?

I know exactly how that's going to end. Been there enough times to be able to safety call it.

Yeah no, sorry, not staying in those kinds of games and it has nothing to do with learning anything. What I learn is how selfish and jerky people are. They are miserable games.

So No-thank-you. I will suicide and move on. - after I've blocked them so if I see them in the future I don't go into that lobby. Why won't I DC? Why on earth would i give them more BP for that? Yeah no they don't deserve more BP.

If I sound a wee bitter... I'm kinda feeling that way right now.

I just had 15 games like that between last night and tonight. So don't tell me not to suicide if that's the crap going on. I feel sorry for my next set of teammates who I'm now going to be suspicious of for awhile. :-(

    sobs

    I hate jerks.

Okay so I'm a lot bitter atm lol
