Question to nurse mains
Why do you guys facecamp so much?
Ever since CP started I've seen a tremendous increase in facecamping Nurses. I've never played Nurse so I don't know for sure but I thought you guys could literally just blink across the map and be back on the hook in no time so why bother sitting there?

Those aren't Nurse players, they were probably in the learning phase and couldn't handle her difficulty and wanted to facecamp to feel a sense of victory. I speak for all nurse mains when I say this. We Nurse mains do not face camp

Pumpkinhead nurse here.
Most of those nurses are inexperienced most likely. They figure it's an easy down to lure another survivor to the hook, since it means less blinking and potential to screw up.

Huh. Didn't think of that, thanks. I just assumed in high ranks everyone knew their way around all killers. Then again I only play Plague so yeah.

Not necessarily. I'm a red rank killer and I have no clue how to play nurse and billy.

nurse is a completely different playstyle than all the other killers, a lot harder to learn and i guess people dont want to lose rank.

There is no sense in camping with nurse since she is an m1 killer easy to avoid if she is just waiting for the trade and not actually trying to blink.

Even a Nurse has to camp if survivors are hookrushing.

Those sounds more like new Nurse players that are trying to learn her. True Nurse mains slug people and blink away from the hook for devour hope stacks

Just as a tip: I think there are now 22 killer, each taking several dozens of hours to learn or master their powers and the way to use them.
From what I gathered on this forum it is possible to hit rank 1 in one or two months if you are good.
If you don't play the game for years it should be impossible to know all killers.
I play league of legends with roughly 150 champs by now and still can't play all with 10 years of playing this game.

Okay assuming you're not a dumbass or the survivors you played with also aren't dumbasses that rush hooks before the killer leaves or either of you are too stupid to try and take the killers aggro after rescuing someone, and then blaming the killer for your bad calls.
However i's likely that the nurse is you're playing against are not experienced nurses or they are new to playing her.
Nurse is stupid broken strong but the road there is is a long journey and most people don't have the patience, skills and experience to play her. This means there's a good chance that the bad ones will camp because they feel pressured more easily, and sometimes the survivors are too ez and stupid to not take the bait so killers get rewarded and they "feel good" about themselves.
It's apart of why killers like Wraith and pre- rewroked Bubba are more infamous for camping. They're bad killers that are hard to pressure with. And their kit is decent enough to camp with.
It could also potentially be because she's doing her daily and don't care really care for playing.

I'm actually almost disappointed if the Bubba doesn't camp lol. But yeah probably just new Nurse players in red ranks although they still had a lot of fancy stuff on for a player who doesn't main that character.

Haven’t ever seen a Nurse main camp anyone w her.
Never been camped by a Nurse, either.
I have had a Rank 1 Nurse proxy while I was hooked, but only bc all gens were completed and she hooked me near one of the exit gates... that’s totally understandable tho.

I've seen plenty of nurse players camp but never a nurse main. If a nurse main wants to win in seconds she can. They're what I like to call Sally Slugson players and they'll just slug everyone with Infectious and one hook them and game over in seconds. They don't need to facecamp because they're so good that they can end a chase faster than you can say "#########".

Nurse is garbage right now. Just a giant bug. So yeah, the players you see are players that got taunted by "best killer in DBD!!!". (she's clearly not anymore)

I've been accused of face camping after the person who keeps failing to flashlight stun me at the hook attempts a rescue right as the hooking animation finishes...
But yeah, it's not face camping if the killer literally gets 15 feet away when he hears an unhook... That is just unsafe unhooking.

Thats how I used to play her. I don't do that anymore since I dont get BP tho. But Sally Slugson is the best name for this playstyle lmao

With no per-killer MMR, but still locked in MM, signing up to play anything you're not experienced with in red ranks is basically just asking to get kicked in the balls for 3-6 minutes. The higher rank you are the less flexibility in what you can play and how you can play it, the sweatier the squads you're up against, and the less fun the game is in general. There is a reason you see people "de-pip" on purpose. I'm rank 3 and my roster is basically limited to 1 killer if I even want a chance against most teams.
