How many rift levels did the current tome grant you so far?

I'm wondering because I've been putting quite some hours in the game beyond the challenges in level 1 and 2, and I'm only at level 27. In comparison, I reached level 31 with just the challenges in the rift/tome before that. Did they adjust the amount of rift shards earned? Would love a comparison if that is available.
