I don't know if the "thong" is really imporant but,they should have respected the whole outfit,if you are going to do whatever the * you want,then don't make people waste their time and effort doing something,if the outfit is going to look totally different,that's kinda disrespectful,i can't believe they are censoring a women just for "a thong" that it's almost not visible, and it's a common piece of clothing

That's part of my culture, I know the origin and when it started to become the fashion, why it was a fashion, and what it was supposed to represent. Of course by the mid 2000's little Billy was copying the trends at the time, but most trends start from the street and end up mainstream.
But back to the point, you're trying to make me look shallow or sexist based on the fact that displaying underwear is inherently sexual. Well, if I'm sexist I guess BHVR is too because they deemed it inappropriate and removed it, and there was a huge uproar about it winning the contest in the first place so I've heard.
Now me, I don't care one way or the other really, if they wanted to have the thing in I actually support that as I don't see that being an issue in the first place, but to act naive to sexuality and the role it plays in our lives? No, its just that this outfit is literally out of character, Claudette in lore is an introvert botany fanatic that uses the internet to communicate her ideas and hobbies, with hints that she may have asperger's syndrome in her tome. Making her dress Cardi B style just goes contrary to her personality.

Im not offended. Again, it's that her outfit goes completely against her personality. You don't see David with a tutu and a tiara, or Billy with an elegant tuxedo and top hat. Its just weird and, again, out of character.

The outfit you mentioned, for example, is not really out of character for Jake, Jake comes from a wealthy family but he prefers simpler and more rustic ways of living, portraying him as a low-class miner is not really farfetched, compared to portraying Claudette in rapper clothes.

Also how does her being described as "addled minded" but her mind is clear when she's around the bugs she loves so much (restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests) and "sometimes she loses her breath and has trouble recognizing when she's talking too loudly" (significant difficulties in social interaction and nonverbal communication) not textbook aspergers. Yes, we are, It's always something sexual with you people. She's an innocent introvert in a horror game, we don't need to sexualize any of the characters because others get off on it, it's gross. If anything, the game needs more gore, violence, it's HORROR.
