I find this funny

From my experience, and watching streamers/content creators; when good killers run into baby survivors, the killer players often let the survivors escape, or at least get the hatch. Just my experience playing the game, but I know a lot of killers are toxic tryharding scum.

Meanwhile, I have seen and gone against rank 1 survivors that when going against a bad killer, they will teabag in the middle of a chase, loop the killer for years, teabag at the gates, stay behind the killer the whole match, juke the killer into oblivion, farm their teammates, etc. Although, usually that's only 1 or 2 of them (thank god) and the whole team usually won't be toxic. I've actually met a lot of nice survivors.

My point here is that I see a lot more nice killers than nice survivors.

I edited this because apparently the OG version was a hot take lol.

It happens on both sides. My friends and I have played in a SWF against a baby killer when all of us were either red or purple ranks. I mean like a blatantly obvious baby killer. This was back when the messed up MMR system was in and was throwing sheep to the wolves. The moment we noticed the lack of skill on their part, we just rushed gens, got items from chests and left the match. They're not really fun to play against.

Hell, I had a Myers chase me around Ormond in tier 1 the entire match. I thought he had scratched mirror but then he finally hit tier 2 at the end of the match on someone else.

Likewise, I've seen killers completely destroy survivor teams with 0 gens completed. Total noobs and no mercy was shown. People were slugged and tunneled. It happens on both ends of the game.

Like said above, it happens on both sides. It's a power rush to some people knowing you're dominating over them and the other side has no chance to win. Myself, I'll always give a survivor hatch if they had crappy teammates, or they seemed like they're new. As survivor, if a killer struggled, I won't T-Bag or rub it in, I'll point toward a hook and let them have it.

You get mixed results on both sides.

I've seen Fungoose give baby killers kills before when he is playing survivor. I have also done this personally esp. if the killer is having a bad game. But I've also just rushed gens and left.

When I'm playing killer it just depends on the tone of the game. Played several games last night where the survivors were clearly new, lesser skilled or someone dc'd early, so I two hooked everyone, then practiced throwing hatchets while letting them finish gens and get out. I've also played games where the team bm'd at the start or I just wanted out of the game and ended it a quick as possible.

I've seen survivors give killers a pity kill and I've done it myself. I've even seen killers refusing the pity kill.

But then again, giving a survivor hatch seems more frequent in my experience.

    HAHAHAHA, what???

I have never seen a killer show mercy to one of my ######### teammates.

Literally not a single time. EVER. Tunneled and dead. Mercilessly.

Meanwhile, I am over here farming most of the games I play as plague and making friends with the survivors.

I know in your extremely biased and limited perspective, you think there's only one side to everything, but uhm... that's not how the world works.

First of all I feel sorry for you

Also you're attacking my point while you're a somewhat friendly killer?

And if you weren't paying attention, i've experienced both sides of it.

And not all killers are sweaty little muppets.

There is so much wrong with what you just said that its not even worth covering it all.

Hm, can not even remember back when i got hatch from a killer. But i remember somehow when i got facecamped the last time. Today... twice in a row.

Before you start, no i am not a bunny feng neither do i bring any items or i teabag. I just loop better then most survivor. I guess thats toxic so better punish me for that.

I'm attacking your point because you are illogically attempting to further perpetuate the circle-jerk of "killer good, survivor bad". That's the last thing we need in this community?

You want it to seem like these people are these humble, merciful gods when it's quite the opposite actually. They might give some total trashcan the hatch, but look at how they react when they run into actually good players. They start getting frustrated and complaining about second chances like every other player that loses. Otz at the score screen when he loses --> "Yup, Ds, Ds, Ds, Unbreakable, Borrowed Time". Haha, like yeah, survivors are gonna use good perks.

Not all survivors are sweaty little muppets, either though?

I'm a rank 1 survivor and killer and I have literally never done anything you mentioned against a bad killer. I do gens/bones and take the gate. End of story. Perhaps these toxic survivors just lack perspective? They probably don't play killer and understand what it's like, so you have that in common with them, I guess.

Also, saying that you feel sorry for me was irrelevant to everything and just makes you seem dumb lol.

I.e. your bias leads you to inherently disagree with what I'm saying but you don't actually have any argument.

Cool, probably should just not respond at all in the future.

Nah, you act like the people who give hatch and let the killer get a kill are the same people complaining constantly, if anything it'd be the opposite. Also, I play 50/50, in what way am I biased? I didn't give a full argument before because of how big your ego was, it you wanna get insulting I'm happy to debate.

I've had survivors give me pity kills when I was learning a killer I didn't know how to play.

Nah, look, all I was originally saying was that the OP is making it seem as though only killers are merciful which is simply not true. I have played against a lot of bad killers and I have never bm'd them and have absolutely given them sacs. At the same time, I have also been given hatch by respectful killers.

    It goes both ways.

To point the finger at one side and say, "this group of players is kind and respectful to noobs and this group is not" (which is what I got from the OP) is just being silly. People experienced in this game enough know that it goes both ways.

-I was just sharing my experience

-Okay, but I get actual fu**ing death threats for running meta perks as killer

-You are correct, not all survivors are sweaty muppets.

    -Good for you then

    -Lol I play survivor

-Criticizing a positive gesture was irrelevant to everything and just makes you seem dumb lol.

Perhaps I wasn't clear, that I admit. I was sharing my experience. Obviously it goes both ways. It's just a pattern I'VE noticed from MY personal experience playing the game.

When I first started playing there were also survivors that offered me a petty kill. I just think there's seemingly more toxicity from the survivors because they are with 4. Chances are higher you'll find at least one toxic survivor then.

Uhh... Did you actually just deny the existence of nice killers and then a sentence later completely disprove your own statement by claiming you're a nice killer?

Thats fair, the post definitely could have been worded better. But before you attack someone you might wanna check what they actually think, otherwise it makes you seem like your jumping to conclusions.

Another amazing example i just experienced 5 minutes ago.

Was playing survivor last game, killer was Cannibal, we basicly had a 5 gen run (he had 300 hours....) no toxic, just looping. Eventually after the chase he lost me, needless to say he had a bad game. At the end i ran to him and pointed at a hook to give him a free kill. He downed me and acted like he was afk just to get another kill, which he almost succeeded. Even after that shady attempt, i did the same again and tried to give him the free kill. He downed me again and let me bleed on the ground till EGC was over.

It always goes both ways, pretty much equaly.

Not really weird. As a solo survivor I rarely get easy games, so, when it happens, I feel 0 pity for killer. If killer get tbagged by someone, well, adapt and learn how to punish it. xD I dont care about it. You know, you are generous only when the most of the time you have it easy. When you have to work hard every game, you stop caring about being generous. Fair to note is that it can be a pure luck - someone can be super lucky and always get easier games, but for other player it can be infinite hell. And I'd say we have plenty of toxicity on both sides.. I dont think that killers stopped using mories and slugging untill they win. You probably forget about it, because it is a norm for you. Sure, its a strategy, no need to start a discussion about it, but dont pretend its nice. :D

And average killers be like: Oh, a fair team! Now I can return to slugging. Wait, they popped 3 gens too early and my greedy plan doesnt work.. ha~ha, get camped, randon unlucky guy. :^)
