Should've hit escape and showed us your ping as well. However, from my experience, window hits with elevation have always been janky.

Ignoring what it does at loops, are you saying that you feel it is not cheating to see the killer approaching you from across the map removing the killers stealth, when normal resolution would hide the killer and allow them to get the drop on you and hit?

If we are talking about across the map I'm thinking technically stretch would let you see the killer 2-3 seconds earlier before it would come on normal res. This wouldn't matter especially because you know its *across the map*

There will always be hits like this in the game as long as we have them stupid Capsules as hit-boxes

The hitbox for a survivor stays momentarily at the top of a vault when falling instead of following them like what a normal person would expect. Medium vaults are really prone to this as the hitbox stays longer than a fast vault. So I'm assuming he just hit like normal either through ping disparity and visually it registered to him or knew about the hit box and hoped for the best.
The hit validation seems to effect severe cases of lag. This was just good old fashioned DBD screwing you over.

Could this not be a case of the survivor with a bad connection and in reality the killer was much closer. That's the thing with server-side both sides are going to have cases where what they see doesn't jive with how the server sees it. Like an umpire in a baseball game sometimes they see things differently.

Exactly this. With ping stuff like this is always going to happen. Just now with a neutral observer you can be more sure its your potato connection that is the culprit

I mean Huntress is strong like a russian bear so I wouldn't be surprised if she started throwing actual fridges at some point even without a mod.

Yes stretch res increases frames but I think op said its his monitor. None the less more frames isnt a bad side just because they stretch their monitor doesnt mean its cheating. Ayrun stretched his is it cheating?

All you've shown in this clip is that you play in stretched res and have awful connection. Get used to losing.

That’s a hit because you medium vaulted.
On the killers screen you were probably just getting to the other side of the window and he hit you through it. This is where latency kicks in. Nothing you can do about latency, it’s in all games. I used to play COD before and getting shot around corners was in every single cod I ever played. It’s just latency.
The hit validation only changes the EXTREME cases where you’re 30 feet away and still get hit because of a laggy killer. Other than that everything stays the same.

Nah i could care less except for the inbuilt lightborne, but the increased FPS would be nice.

This is every game for me with Windows on xbox. I can't loop for ######### anyway but when I'm constantly being hit 10 feet after a window jump im ready to give up.

The worst part is. Newer games that require higher performance seems to work a lot better than DBD, but after the Slinger DLC I experience lag for the first few games which hinders the game play. It can sometimes lag me out of the match as loading in can generate a lot of lag.
Kinda weird as it only happens for 2 or 3 matches on PC and only on DBD.

Its because the game is poorly optimized and they dont know how to optimize it they are amateurs sadly.
