scrap banking new gamemode idea

  1. sabo hooks or traps to get nuts, screws, and bolts
  2. cleanse totems and open chests to get nuts, screws and bolts
  3. use those items to repair gens
  4. escape

extra notes:

  • half of your collected items are lost on getting downed (can be picked back up once the threat is gone)
  • survivors have no limit over the amount of items they can carry
  • totems and chests regenerate after 2 minutes (hexes will not re appear and you can't refind items in already reopened chests)
  • hex totems that are destroyed will reward you with an iredescent screw, nut or bolt which counts as 3 of that item, you have a limited amount of time before the iredescent item becomes normal
  • generators have a certain amount of required screws, nuts and bolt ranging from 10 to 25, you cannot see the amount required unless using a perk
  • killers can break the gen and reduce the amount of items in that gen ranging from 10% to 50%, if they use pop goes the weasel they can remove all of one item and remove the rest on a fixed 25%)
  • killers can see how many items remain before the gen is completed

    Its interesting but I feel like thats making sabo WAY too much of a meta perk.
    So instead of getting them from hooks and traps, maybe search lockers instead

    i didn't want lockers to be the thing because of how many lockers you can get in a single map, while hooks are better since they are more spread out and they give less and less the more you sabo

    Remove the sabo hooks option to get nuts,screws and bolts and replace it with other objects so that we dont get a sabotage meta cancer. Example: instead of the hooks make it possible to get these objects by searching objects around the map besides just totems and chests. Maybe on auto haven you can open up the hood on one of the ruined vehicles and salvage engine parts, or in Lerys you can break apart the gurneys and TV's for some parts, etc.

    That sounds neat. Hooks might be a little awkward, though, since there would be no hooks left for the killer to use, and using Hangman's Trick would just allow the survivors to farm their scrap more easily. I'd also cut the bear trap part just because it would punish trappers specifically. Maybe toss in searching lockers, searching through broken pallets, or a new objective entirely to add some more variety to it.

    To be fair I already nut when I break hex totems.
