People DCing at beginning of Match theory.
I’m not sure where to post this so hopefully someone can move it to the right spot for me.
So I’ve been doing some digging around. It started when they enabled crossplay with consoles. Almost every game I get into someone disconnects a few seconds into the match. After the match is over I leave the end screen up and I’ve been checking the names of the people who DC on Xbox and their name is there so I send them a message and they tell me that their game is crashing as they load in. I’ve talked to about 16 different people so far and they all say the same thing. So it sounds like we have a problem here.

This bug has been going on forever. Basically it effects certain killers, survivors who join the match of a killer with this bug have a very high chance to disconnect, yet on their end it will show that the killer disconnected, yet the game is continuing with the killer and the remaining survivors.
I had this back when the Stranger Things DLC first came out and nothing solved it until the next patch got released. I never ran into the issue when I played survivor, but only when I played killer, and it was like you said, 2 or 3 survivors disconnecting within a minute or so into the game.

I know what you are talking about, it was the reason I stopped playing on Xbox. This seems to be different though. Their game hard crashes to the dashboard.

Sometime its the bug but most of the time this happen when i see a mori or freddy so im not sure you can blame the bug everytime

Still nothing done about this I guess? I just had it happen two games in a row tonight and I looked their names up on Xbox and guess what? They were Xbox players... Can something be done about this? lol
