How long has it been since you played DBD? Prayer beads literally work the opposite now - everyone can hear the vacuum effect and knows when the Spirit in question is phasing.
I'm also not saying Spirit is a fair killer, just that gen speeds wreck everything. Even other survivors that are just trying to have a good time.

This is untrue , most of the time they die being over altruistic and it's only a very small percentage that actually genrush instead of troll with a toxic build
Not that I'm denying the advantages they do get from comms but it's not as significant as some might believe and sometimes being on comms and miscommunication can get you killed faster than if you were just solo
