Lag switching?
I encountered a cheater (i believe so).
The guy was VAC banned for 160 days. I tried to hook him, it did not work. Gengrab, did not work, i just stood there freezed.
He jumped in a locker when i tried to down him. He had no mither / resilience / unbreakable and tenacity and oh, a freaking skull key.
His MS where beyond 1000.
That's too suspicious. Anyone knows this cheat? Is it called lagswitching?

It's not new, you can search lag switcher videos on youtube channel of Otz and Tru3. The only counter to them is not pick them up, kill everyone and let the entity kill the hacker.
If you have a video proof, you can send a report ticket to BHVR's CS, it's bannable.

Yup very probably lagswitching or lagabsuing, survivors learned to do it, mostly you see it when youre about to hook them but your character freezes instead of hooked, letting them wiggle off.
In this cases, if its not your connection or the servers laging, record it for a nice report.
Its always very suspicious when they bring no mither tbh.
What happened with the locker grab?

I had this happen recently as well. Two console survivors (I’m Steam) would lag switch when I got near them. There character would run into a wall (lag) but the hitbox wasn’t present. I’d sometimes catch them but they brought boiled over and I was unable to hook.
I recorded the video but it’s awkward reporting cross platform.

I experienced the grab before. You can NOT hook, drop survivor, use your ability, kick gen / pallet, open locker and move at 3.6 m/s in the entire of trial. In the other hand, the lag switcher will invincible and do whatever he wants like nothing happen.

Ive seen also the fact that if you hook him like twice in a raw (i mean try to hook) hell get kicked from the game (but it doesnt always work) record these kinda games and report the player !

It's actually a common hack atm, mostly played by a David or Nea and almost always Russians because they have no life anyway.
