Basic attacks, The Oni, and Iron Maiden

This is an honest question, because i dont think its a bug but just a weird situation. I was playing killer today as The Oni. Normally if someone jumps into a locker you just grab them out or catch them. So ive never really hit anyone while Iron Maiden was active with him. Well today I was in my power and someone jumped out of a locker in front of me, so I figured instead of charging a demon strike i would just wack the survivor. Come to find out the M1 swing isnt a basic attack. The Survivor goes on their merry way.


This kinds of reminds me of when you close hatch while gens are still available and you cant rancor the obsession

    Yeah, I don't understand why basic attacking in Blood Fury isn't considered a basic attack. The only difference between it and a normal M1 is you can't lunge, and the only reason that's a thing is because the controls to lunge is what charges a Demon Strike.
