Couldnt Open The Hatch With A Key?!!!
So I was playing a game on Lery's Memorial, and there was just 1 Geni left to do. Me and my friend each had a key. One was Pink, the other was Purple. We both were unable to open the hatch though. Literally, there was no option to open it. The killer only had 1 perk, and I believe there isnt a perk that disables this ability. Any idea what this was? Im assuming it was a glitch? (Btw this is on PS4)

If you had a broken key then it definitely wouldn’t have worked.
If it was pink or purple then it should’ve prompted the “Escape through hatch(R1)”
Possible it was a bug tho, haven’t heard that one from anybody yet.
Pretty sure the only killer that could prevent a survivor from using an item is if Doctor brought you to madness 3... I think that would prevent you from using an item until you snapped out of the madness phase, might only be medkits tho.

I had the opposite of this happen. Killer was closing in I made it to an open hatch and ran all around\over it and never the prompt to escape. Killer however was able to close it...😭

They’re not cheating.
It might be an obnoxious way to escape, but don’t slander people for using a legitimate item for a legitimate mechanic.

same thing happened to me yesterday. same map. new glitch i guess.

I say he is cheater because he use not in game program(voice chat)to gain advantage.
