I'm a deathslinger main now!
Just so you know. I stopped playing nurse almost entirely, because it somehow got boring and stressful for me. The fun aspects of nurse could just not outweight her bugs and the cooldown on her cooldown.
I like chase potential, so i tried STBFL deathslinger with fast reload for a while. Long story short, that's my new main.

I dont main anyone, but he's definitely a go to when I need a win. I've been playing shooters since Doom was new, so he's definitely strong in my hands.

Although I am actually curious how useful STBFL is for you - I feel like I never get value, but that's probably because I'm more of an anti-healer than full-commitment chaser

Burn a midwich offerings, clos your eyes and fire down the hallways. Just like a true stormtrooper!

For me it feels damn rewarding, especially because i combine it with quick reload addons. Sometimes i get ridiculous shots, that wouldn't have been possible without the time STBFL and the addons buy me.

It really is a must have perk on deathslinger. 8 stacks is pretty much an instadown if you can aim.

I'm just going to throw it out there but they were order to not kill them... Vader wanted them alive. They were missing on purpose. They actually have amazing aim.

If it's a "must" then why do I do so well without it?
Or maybe it's just the number of ridiculously optimal SWF teams I've been getting since crossplay that changes my perspective. Ignoring 1 person for the sake of stacks is dangerous, but if you don't ignore them then your stacks are worthless. Add in a few locker DS's and that perk is done for.

I feel that same way on most killers, but not slinger. You can do well with him, but that perk is god tier on him.

I was strong with the nurse (before the nerve). Now I have only 1 or 2 survivors per game, the price of addons is really not possible, her blink breaks my system ARGHH ...
In short, I play with Gorgon, certainly it's not the best, since he also has problems, but I have fun!
If I could have been reimbursed for the cosmetics for the Nurse... if I had known that they were going to go the nerve 1 month later....🤗

Deathslinger is fun but sometimes oh my lord..
i got yesterday 2-3 nice snipe shots from 15 meters or something but i couldnt reach the survivors to hit them
i dced.. i was really mad.

If I want to calm down, I play Huntress. Aiming requires you to be calm and I somehow automatically calm down when playing her.
She is strong as well so you can win any Match if you're good enough with her.

The fact he can injure the obsession without losing a stack, demo still has better synergy but both are pretty good for it.

It does, but letting them break free will injure them without you losing a stack.

I would love to try out deathslinger, but with the main game not having a practice mode, and the MMR turned off, the rank that I'm currently at would have me going up against sweaty red ranks and I certainly don't want to be doing that with a killer I've never played with before.

I am tempted to just drop completely when I see this totally OP killer. He really needs a re-balance. Not in the sense of a total nerf or what not, but something to offset the ranged hook that allows him to be the sneakiest of all killers ever.
Seeing posts of others kills outright abandoning their preferred killer for the EASY-MODE should be an indication for devs.
Of course, I exaggerate a little and just think a small amount of fine tuning would go a long way. Increased terror radius, slower walk/run speed, and increased speed of his Mortal Kombat Scorpion Rip Off. (Seriously, why didn''t they just get scorpion... "Get over here" ... I need that in my life).

Deathslinger is far from easy, learning to quickscope is one thing, not messing up your shots is the other. He has a really, really high skill ceiling.

My most humorous experience couple days ago was as you know survivors like to T-bag at the exit. I've gotten used to it and just stand and wait outside the exit not bothering to chase them. One of them got overly cocky walked to me, I M1'ed him, he backed up to the exit to continue his t-bagging, so I reeled him in and of course at this point he's in dying state so I hooked him :D
