Is the doctor any good?

I have been looking for a new killer main (last was ghostface) and my eyes have locked in for doctor so I ask l, is he any good at this point in the game.

He's one of the few killers I can use consistently without getting frustrated. Great map pressure and great at finding survivors.

He's pretty good. His static blast is free tracking within 32 meters (actually it's whole terror radius, but 32 default)

If you can time the regular shocks well, you can make a survivor scream and then hit them before they can drop a pallet or fast vault something.

And the madness is good slowdown, (on lower ranked players) plus the occasional screams will offer additional tracking.

Yes, he has anti loop with his Shock Therapy and pressure/tracking from his Static Blast and Madness effect. If you learn when to use them, Doc can be a beast. Just watch out for dedicated servers taking shock stuns away from you.

If you learn shock timings you gonna end chases faster in sertain loops and vaults.

Pretty easy to learn but most important learn when to shock to stop pallet drops and to win 50/50 guaranteed.

Yep. Love playing as him. Very fun, decent kit and actually good at controlling the flow of gameplay.

I put more time in Doc than any killer due to his Bloodpoint farming potential. I can say he's very good in tracking and slowing down the game. With the right perks, he can control the last 3 gens even without them being next to each other.

The problem with Doc is he has no assistance with chasing and attacking survivors. Fake pallet add-ons definitely help though. Otherwise, you just run up and whack them like usual.

I like him a lot though. He's perfectly balanced. Great for locating survivors and slowing down the game, but poor in the chase and getting quick downs and kills.

Doc is one of the best killers in the game, he's just not very easy to use. I personally find him quite frustrating because I just cannot for the life of me ge this timing down, but I also don't like how insane his add-ons are and how much they buff him. But, that's just personal preference, and if you were a Ghostface main then you're probably used to add-on dependency (although Doc doesn't really need them, they're just very, very nice to have).

Edit: I should clarify, by "not easy to use" I mean at any reasonable level of play above noobstomping w/out add-ons. If you run around shocking people then sure, you'll get kills with him, but you waste a heap of time.

Dedicated Servers can screw you over the timing of shocking, so I strongly recommend using the lower detonation delay for him.
