Intense fan on the PS4 pro

So before the new patch came out I cleaned my ps4 out and it ran dbd almost silently, however after the new patch the fan has been crazy loud. Why is this?
On a different note the devs should give console players three different options for graphics and frames:
High FPS mode
High graphics mode
Something in between
