so, I had an archive challenge where I had to escape as the obsession. since ds changes obsession, to do it quickly I equipped ds, sole survivor and object to have wallhacks and always be the obsession, and then left behind. then I picked a key, and went in a corner of the match all the game, timed lockers to avoid bbq, and after 3 matches I finally escaped. Is this bannable if you do this just 1 time? btw there is even an achievement where you gotta never get hit as the obsession, so I guess not bannable? or yes?

So you didn't do gens or participate in chases or anything. I'd say its definitely a grey area but thats toxic for sure even if it was a challenge...

Nope being scared and afraid of the killer and leaving your team mates to a 3v1 because you cant loop with op meta perks and survive.

grey area. Doubt you'd get banned but honestly I would be pissed if you were in my game. A few people have done this to me and it's essentially trolling really.

It is not banable at all, you are not holding the game hostage or anything. what others think of what you do is different! now, people MIGHT not like what you do but it is your game and challenge. do what you need to do.

This is why keys aren't OP, because if one random survivor like the one who opened this thread decides to hide and not do any objectives and just wait out the hatch , then the whole squad dies because of it, all it literally takes is one person not doing anything productive to just shift the entire momentum to the killer and make the game almost unwinnable as a survivor

The hatch doesn't spawn unless all the gens are done with everyone alive , the only time it's ever unfair is when you're keyed multiple times and just keep closing the hatch for someone to just reopen it in your face and in that case all the gens got done and they could've went out the gates

It's not bannable in the same way that bodyblocking for kills or full-party bleedouts isn't bannable.

It's not bannable but still you are almost AFKing which is reportable.
So i just would say to not abuse it ^^
