Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

He means African Canadian, and Canadian is a subtype of ethnicity

Unless they are native I guess. But then maybe say "Native American" (in this case, American referring to the continent, not country)

Is Jake Asian? I was never sure. I thought he might be Latino. They could use a Native American survivor.

I think they meant "Why would the color of their skin matter?"

Definitely Asian American. Not only the last name and backstory (The backstory doesn't specifically say, but it hints), he's also modeled after Alex Lin from BHVR.

Ace was raised in Argentina, but he's also Italian, so at the very least Agentine-Italian. Some of these are indeed a confusion between ethnicity and nationality.

To have a complete set of horror movie archetypes (because I believe DBD is tied up to that genre), we'll probably need a slavic fellow some day. That being said, I'd like to have more different characters with pros and cons, which might fit into the genre, such as the "Child" survivor which might run slightly slower, but could fit in tighter spaces (extra closets/lockers ?).
