The amount of disconnects are baffling
Anyone else getting huge amounts of survivors AND killers disconnecting? usually survivors that go down early and killers that can't get downs will immediately D/C. did they turn off the penalty?

I think the penalty is off right now. Streamers kept getting super banned.
I've been cursed today with teammates that want to follow you around and work on a gen with you, but miss skill checks like this is their first time playing (red ranks btw). I'd rather them just d/c at this point.

People DC for a lot of reasons: they're angry at the killer. They're angry at their teammates. They don't want to lose their item. They find the killer or map to be 'boring'. They're spiteful and want to deny the killer points/rank. They want their SWF buddy to get hatch.
The common theme is that it's always petty, and it usually hurts their teammates more than the killer. Until the community turns against them or the devs find a way to penalize them without screwing with the livelihoods of DBD streamers it's something we just have to deal with. The best response is to point and laugh. It's harder from the survivor's side, but there it is.

I had three killers in a row DC earlier. I've had the game freeze on me several times the past two days and I had to close the game during matches. I had no other choice because it wasn't going to unfreeze xD

Oh Yeah, I forgot. Sometimes people DC because they... get disconnected. That seems more the exception than the rule though.

I always worry people will think I'm being petty when I have to close the game when it freezes. I mean, I could be of the mindset of "I don't care what they think!" but I don't want people to see me as a flake :3
