Flashlights Are Horrible to use now.
Why did you even bother to mess with how Flashlights were working? They literally feel so horrible to try and aim with a controller now, and even the Blind beam is confusing...not to mention you get a delay coming out of Dead Hard now so you can't use it straight away to time the pick up saves.
Just more and more ingenious ways to ruin the game...i haven't been able to use a Flashlight properly in about 3 months since yous broke them 2 or 3 patches ago (which i'm sure was a side-effect for fixing the pointing crouch spam gltich)...but yeah thanks for making another Survivor item pretty close to useless.
I guess Keys are on the list next.

I find them easier to use now. I actually got my blind challenges done, when I couldn't even get 1 blind before.

They change it to be a bugged... Things should not work perfectly in this game. Never!

Before patch 2.1 flashlights were definitely at there best even without insta blinds.

Wow. On one hand I would have liked to experience that - on the other though I'd probably be very frustrated now. Since I came to play - they've never been any real good. :-(
At least I'm used to that. It must be horrible to come from a time period where they worked properly. :-(

I was confused when I tried one as the over the shoulder POV was the same to me. I thought thats what they changed. Then I went for a blind and literally could not hit their eye no matter what I tried. At one point it got blocked by a rock to my left somehow.

They've changed it to be center it's odd now , you have to cover the killers character model on your screen with your body and look slightly higher than you used to , it feels weird not seeing the killer until I click the flashlight but I've got it down now

However, that doesn't prevent you from putting it in my face in the middle of the chase....
Finally, the most toxic remains the key of the hatch, I prefer the flashlight !🤗

The new flashlight doesnt take long to get used to. But what tf was wrong with the original?

the opposite
flashlights were bugged, flashlights were bugged, the devs actually fixed them. The issue is that the devs just took such a long time fixing them that everyone got used to the bugged flashlights.

The flashlights have never been like this before I've played since release, these new graphics have zoomed in on the survivor perspective slightly and the spot to aim is different than it ever was

Yes. What happened was that originally the flashlight beams came out at the middle of your screen. There was a bug that made them come out just right of center. Now they come out at the middle of your screen again. The bug was fixed, it's just that everyone got used to the bug because it took so long for the devs to fix it.

That's not what I'm saying, and dude Ive been here long enough to have legacy I know how to use a flashlight, it was never like this before and it it was it's because they've zoomed in on the character model to make it look different , anytime I've ever blinded a killer with the flashlight I could see them before I clicked and now my character model feels alot bigger to the point that even performing certain actions you don't have as big of a FOV , it's totally possible they reverted it back but there's something else different going on

No not really I've re learned time and time again. You can still do all the tricks except with a shorter window because they sped up the pickup animation and awkward angle. Other than that just takes time to get better with em.
