I got high quality headphones about a week ago, and holy crap.
i can hear exactly where the killer is! i run into the killer's face like.... 60% less often now!
I somehow heard T1 myre's breathing and footsteps when i was doing the badham preschool basement generator. (he was upstairs chasing my teammate)
Surround sound and good headphones are over performing. plz give them an overheat bar.

Was this ever in question? This game has always had loads of subtle sound ques that you need good headphones to hear.
Even a month after crossplay started I'm still getting console survivors following me to hooks thinking that I can't hear them and that they'll get a free save. I'm not trying to start a PC vs. Console war - I've seen plenty of good console survivors. But there seems to be a big part of the console meta that relies on killers using TV speakers and not being able to hear footsteps and breathing. This needs to be revised.

Don't worry, the sounds are ######### busted half the time anyway. You literally can't hear an injured survivor running 2 feet in front of you fairly frequently. And I don't mean Iron Will quiet, I mean literally no footsteps or any sounds at all quiet.

It certainly causes a division in play quality I’m sure. Especially when you’re playing and the dog, ferrets, kids, or wife has need of attention or banging around the house or any of the remote chaos/accidents that occur. Might as well be a deaf killer.
