The Kill Switch is a recent feature added to Dead by Daylight. It gives us the ability to temporarily switch off any items/offerings/maps/cosmetics/characters that are causing game breaking issues in the game, to ensure continued enjoyment. When the Kill Switch is used, the item/offering/cosmetic/character/map will not be able to be selected. Maps are automatically removed from rotation, and they will remain unable to be selected in Custom Games.
On this page, you can find information on what is currently disabled through the Kill Switch, in game, along with the reason why and when you can expect them to return. We also list current Known Issues here, but they remain enabled.
Kill Switch (Disabled)
- The Mastermind has been Kill Switched due to an issue with Virulent Bound. The Mastermind will be re-enabled once this issue is fixed.
- The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.
Known Issues that are marked with a targeted fix date are not guaranteed. However, we will endeavour to apply these fixes at that time.
For those Under Investigation, the issue is still being resolved and we do not have a fix date to communicate as yet.

- Annotated Plan and Jigsaws Sketch are adding the incorrect number of RBTs, but the Secondary Effect is still applying.
