Anybody else feeling like Vigo's Shroud is not much taking you (survivor) that much far from the Killer as possible?
I was in Storehouse. And spawn maybe 10m from the nearest gen. I thought I was in a great position to at least get 2/3 the gen before the killer (a Doctor) would be around.
But no, the second I start repairs. I get Terror Radius'd. Apparently Vigo has a sick sense of Direction AND Humor.

Well... you gotta remember that the Killer assumes (knows in fact) that some of the Survivors will always spawn at the opposite end of the map. He/she will make a beeline toward the Generator farthest away because odds are they will either encounter Survivors on the way and almost certainly find one or more Survivors when they get there. So Vigo's Shroud isn't really that useful. I never put it in. I head toward the center or the Generators at the Killer Shack or where I'm guessing the Killer spawned to get those.
The exception is if a BUNCH of us spawn together next to a Generator. Then it makes good sense to try and knock that one out of the park fast. But if I spawn alone, at the far end from the Killer, I know he is headed right for me. He knows I'm there.

I only meant the timing. Especially for a killer as slow as Doctor. Which had me thinking.
But yea sure... consider me like a newb 🤷♂️
